As a school project, we should make an event based on several related theories and models. My choice of organizing a swing dance event was supported by the fact that deciding for something I adore will increase my creativity and enthusiasm for the whole process of creation. Moreover, I can use all experience and knowledge I have already gained and therefore it will make an easier way for collecting the essential data.

On the day of 5th May, swing queen Norma Miller died. The last living member of the legendary Whitey's Lindy Hoppers, active in the swing community up to this date, would celebrate her 100th birthday this year. Now she is swinging again with her lifelong friend Frankie Manning...
