Going to jail for murdering someone seemed like a far fetched idea to you. Your brother--before he passed away--was in charge of keeping order in Hell. He killed people all the time; it was the only way to keep the masses under his control. He never once was scolded by mother for killing someone--even if they had done nothing wrong. The human world was strange, but that was to be expected when you knew hardly anything about it. Only recently had you begun to understand it--albeit barely. Your friend was to thank for that. If it weren't for him you'd still be stuck in Hell--probably doing your brother's job. What a horrible thought. 

"--A d-date?" you stopped suddenly. Was she serious? You normally never got this far with women. You didn't plan this far ahead! "Uhh--sure! Why, uh, not? Heh." Be brave, man.

          ❝  Its just so I don’t get prosecuted or thrown in               jail for ‘murdering’ people,❞   she shrugged a               bit as she walked beside him.  As he nudged                her back, she felt a bit of bravery well up in-               side her, even though she was already a               fairly outgoing woman.

                               ❝  Would it be alright if I called our little                                     outing a date?~  I’d much like that. ❞

"--Oh, good call! I need a bucket of buffalo sauce, too." You pause for another moment; it was enough time for Ruthiel to waddle over and lean in toward the phone's receiver.

"--I'd, um, like some steak sauce too. A whole bunch, okay?"

"Don’ ferge’ tha damn buffalo sauce this time!"

"--Yeah, hello? I'd like three hundred chicken fajitas." There was a pause. "No this isn't a joke. Ya heard me right. I want three hundred chicken fajitas. Did I fuckin' stutter?"

"--Yer so goddamn ornery," you grumbled as you closed the magazine and tossed it away. Ruthiel waddled her way to Nicole's bed and took a seat right beside you. She mumbled something before doing so, but you couldn't catch it. Probably a prayer--Angels were fucking weird. "Anyway, don't ya know that we're goin' to war soon? Didn't Blitz bring it up?" You assumed he told her already; why would he keep that a secret? Human emotions were odd. 

Ruthiel looked a little uncomfortable. "--It's true," she mumbled. "I'm sorry. I thought you knew? But that makes sense. I've known Blitz for a long time. It's hard to get him to open up about things that worry him." She began to fumble with the sleeves of her shirt. "Has he been acting really paranoid lately? He gets like that...--I hope he won't be too mad we told you."

"Wai’ a sec, wha’ do I know abou’?" {/For all she knows, they could easily be talking about Blitz’s collection of porn magazines. Which surprisingly he only reads for the shampoo adds. Even still that was weird as fuck, but she knew! Or perhaps they were speaking of how he now has two kittens? One that was named ‘Tupac’? Or how Blitz knew that Nicole wanted to rip all the hair’s off of Devil’s head for constantly going through her stuff?}

"—Don’ touch nuffin’ else, Devil. I swear I’ll shave ya bald if ya do."

Ruthiel smiled at Nicole's response while you plopped yourself down on her bed. She was a very open and social person--she wouldn't have any trouble getting along with Nicole. Chicks, man. "--It's nice to meet you too!" came the chirp that was Ruthiel's reply. "I've been meaning to come down here and spend some time with you--I really have! We've just been extremely busy with--" Small hands partially covered by long sleeves went to silence her own mouth. You cocked a brow at this, and then sighed.

"--Nicole knows about all that stuff," was what you said in reply. You reached for a magazine and flipped it open to a random page. "Ya don't gotta hide anything from her. Blitz said it's cool." 

{/That was okay, Nicole hardly used the door either. But what she wasn’t expecting was to see someone climbing in her window that quickly. Huh. That was sooner than expected, to be quite frank. She expected to be kept waiting until tomorrow to meet his friend or anything like that. Considering Devil didn’t seem to have a good concept of time, and she’d never met this Ruthiel before, how was she to know what to expect?

The bow itself was even weirder than her whole entrance. A polite wave to both her and Devil, since her first initial greeting to the latter was the middle finger. Nicole didn’t even have a chance to really speak. How was she to respond to half of what was going on here with this? They seemed to get along swimmingly, but Ruthiel must have misunderstood. Devil hadn’t hurt her. He just annoyed the crap out of her almost every other time he had seen her.

A gentle shake of her head, her hands raising in a jokingly manner of surrender.}

"Don’ worry none, Ruthiel. I promise ya he ain’ nuffin’ I cain’ handle on a regular basis. Bu’ I am gonna say, i’ i’s super nice ta mee’ ya!"
