I know she’s kinda like this with everyone, as is her duty as player-insert slash unofficial company-therapist-slash-cheerleader, but I’m so incredibly fond of Izumi’s pretty much immediate ride-or-die I’m Your (Second) Biggest Fan mindset when it comes to Tsuzuru. Like, it takes a shocking amount of confidence to be like “yeah sure you can skip a week’s worth of practice right at the start of our theater company rebuild in the hopes of finishing a script, that’s fine, you can do it” but there she goes, saying Exactly That. And then with her yelling at him if he even THINKS that he’d be okay if he wasn’t getting paid for writing?
I kinda wonder if it’s, like, a reflection of what she needed when she was trying to be an actor? With Yukio being Yukio and also just straight up vanishing, and all the stress and emotional baggage THAT put on her mom, I get the impression that Izumi didn’t have terribly many people in her corner when it came to theater stuff, and a solid support system goes SO far when it comes to the arts, at least in my experience. So I guess she looked at this barely-in-college writer dork who hadn’t really had the time to actually Do The Thing and went “oh, mood, I’m gonna be his one-woman hype squad”

Itaru and Hisoka Mini Chat - Of Unfading Memories
Itaru: I’m back. …Huh? There’s some sweet scent in the air.
Hisoka: Maybe it’s this roasted sweet potato scent.
Hisoka: Citron and I went to help at the commercial district’s autumn flavors fair since they needed people. We got these as souvenirs when coming back.
Hisoka: It’s still warm. There are a few of them, do you want to eat one, Itaru?
Itaru: Thank you. I will gladly accept your offer.
Itaru: Ah! Something good just came to my mind.
Itaru: I stopped by the convenience store earlier because I wanted something sweet to eat and bought vanilla ice cream.
Itaru: So how does it sound to eat the warm sweet potato with vanilla ice cream?
Hisoka: …! That’s great. It sounds tasty.
Itaru: Okay, wait for me a bit. Let me change my clothes real quick.
Itaru: Ah~… It’s so good. Perfection…
Hisoka: It’s sweet and warm but also nice and cold. It’s truly tasty…
Itaru: It was busy at work today that I got too absorbed in it. You did a good job helping at the fair, Hisoka.
Hisoka: Thank you. You did your best at work too, Itaru.

A3! Web Manga Translation — Chapter 268: Their True Form is...
An acquaintance of Taichi's seems to have seen him with a woman, and...?
Featuring: Taichi, Azuma Original at http://manga.a3-liber.jp/comic/1829/
Note: This chapter is titled 正体見たり shoutai mitari, which refers to the saying 幽霊の正体見たり枯れ尾花 yuurei no shoutai mitari kare obana.
Literally translated, it's something like "looking at the ghost's true form, it's just withered silvergrass". Or, fear makes things seem scarier than they are.
also hehe Azuma + "shoutai"
