Nymphadora Tonks - Part 1 of Galentine's by willowandroxas - The Rebel The first part of Galentine's 2022. The theme of the challenge is women we admire, and I decided to make a series of Harry Potter characters. The first is Tonks with a phoenix as she was a member of the Order of the Phoenix to first fight against the Death Eaters and then against the entire Ministry of Magic.

I switched my monitor to black and white to paint most of this picture with random colors, then I patched it up a little. I'm still not quite happy with it, so I'm thinking about remaking this image from the sketch stage... any suggestions?

First Time Seeing the Thestrals I made a video about how I finished my first Harry Potter fan motion comic!

I made this comic for the art contest held by artistree.io, the theme of the contest was "First Times", so I made 3 scenes of 3 characters seeing the thestrals for the first time.

Made in Krita, with a One by Wacom M digital drawing tablet, animated in Vegas Pro, it took me about 30-ish hours in total.

First Times - My entry to the art contest made by artistree.io #ArtistreeContest @artistreeio I made a Harry Potter fan motion comic. Thestrals are magical creatures that can only be seen by people who've seen someone die. This comic shows 3 characters seeing the thestrals for the first time. Luna Lovegood - Sees them in 1990, after her mother's accident with an experimental spell going wrong. Harry Potter - Sees them in 1995, after he witnessed Cedric Diggory's death. George Weasley - Sees them in 1998, after losing his twin brother in the battle of Hogwarts. NO AI WAS USED IN THE MAKING OF THIS ARTWORK.

The Last Dance of the Raven and the Badger 🪶❄️🦡 (animated version)

My tradition is to always paint Harry Potter couples for the Holidays, inspired by many works of Rockwell, Kinkade, and some fan artists, like UpTheHill. This time Cho Chang and Cedric Diggory are dancing on the Yule Ball, in 1994. I designed their clothes to resemble their houses, bronze eagle wings, and blue sky + yellow whet with black soil. So they form a landscape as they are dancing.

I made the snowfall effect in Blender.
