felicia wanted to prove that she could help out too! ... but shes still awkward around marin, even while trying to get along :') link's off doing minor errands and asked felicia to stay behind or something. marin felt bad about her being alone, so she invited her to get ingredients for dinner together. she's doing her best!

i find the awkwardness of felicia around marin and tarin kind of fun. its only shown in a few panels, but when they both say "you can bring that fairy back with you for dinner" , then link and felicia are like ahaha.... that and how felicia kind of stays out of the way whenever marin and link are together and having their Moments, or watching from the side (sometimes annoyedly because he seems to just be goofing off)...

all this while Knowing her role as the companion to the "messenger of awakening," knowing that none of them are real and that theyll all probably disappear in the waking world. well, not KNOWING, as shown after the face shrine, but having an idea of it. but also being aware that link and marin got close, and that they wont be able to be together after waking the wind fish. trying to get link to slow down with his hotheaded energy so he can enjoy himself more, spend time with marin, and not rush to the end. of course, its all about the time thats spent together on the island and about the adventure, and link believes in that too. in being able to free the island from the plague that is the nightmare/monster presence, but he doesnt want the others to fade away either. felicia also probably feels really complicated about that too, as she enjoys her time with link but knows her duty

the last time link and marin spoke, he ran off with a simple farewell, knowing that there was more to be said between them, but also leaving felicia awkwardly looking back between him and marin before she follows after him too. a while back, some people talked about how felicia could also have grown to have a crush on him too or something! with That angle in mind, combined with being aware of everything and also watching them grow closer... that perspective could also add a fun layer to things. a bit of envy maybe, but mostly just... the awkwardness at how genuinely nice marin is while still being unaware of the island's fate. kind of wanting to cheer them on and let them enjoy what time they have together, but knowing that it's going to be incredibly short lived. then link's anger at being deceived, "giving up" his role, and then his futile attempt to take marin and flee the island. felicia's anger at overhearing his stupid plan. etc

idk. this is kind of a word salad as i circle around ideas without anything Concrete, i guess. thats kind of what happens when you like characters in non canon (but also still technically official by extension) media that hardly have any interractions. anyway. i think it wouldve been fun to have had more scenes where they couldve interacted together :)
