Idk how many FFXIV mutuals I still have but hi this maintenance is already driving me insane,,

Upon hearing that Aizen would be permitted biweekly supervised probation from his imprisonment, Momo had been shocked. Just the thought of seeing him walking about again had filled her with dread; but also a sense of anger. Was a man like him really going to be given another chance? After everything he had done to them? To her? She had tried her best to avoid him at first - but soon came to realise that facing him was something she had to do if she ever hoped to move on.

There was a lot she wanted to say when she finally came face to face with him, yes; but as she stood before him - fists clenched and brow defiantly furrowed - words failed her. Her heart was racing, her scars ached, memories of his betrayal flashed through her mind - and so too did memories of how much she had admired him, right up until his blade pierced her chest. Oh, how she wanted to scream at him for all the pain and sorrow he had caused her.

But, she would not. At least for now. Doing so would not change the past, the fact that he had done those things. It wouldn't make her feel better. He had used her emotions against her back then, and she didn't want to show him now how much she still hurt. With her new captain's help, she was finally healing - she didn't want her mental state to relapse, especially not in front of him. She steels her resolve.
