I’m here. I’m playing. I just need to get back into the Simblr swing of things. I started a new Legacy game, using the actual Legacy rules. Because this baby’s face sums up my understanding when I initially started this blog. I also just got Island Living and I’m about to launch it for the first time. And life has been busy. So all the things!

But I’m going to update more. Maybe stream? Maybe make videos? If I can find the time? K. Going to go be a mermaid now.

Hi everyone! I’m very excited to share this project with you all! Ever since The Sims 4 came out I have had some collections of CC that I wanted to make and a couple of months ago I found some amazing modern Disney portraits done by an artist named Fernanda Suarez and I became inspired to try and do some more collections like my Anastasia collection! I really hope that you all enjoy this collection! :)

Update 3.6.18: Hi everyone! I just wanted to let you all know that there is a small update to the files - someone let me know that one of the items required another that was in the set due to it using the same textures. It has been a while since I have made a bunch of CC and I forgot to embed the items in S4S. If you find that a red ? appears when you remove an item, please redownload the zip file and replace the item - I’m sorry for the inconvenience!

Kitty Slippers - This is the first sims 3 to sims 4 CAS item that I have converted and they were so annoying and a huge learning experience! Attacked by Bees & Frozen to Death in the Spring

Aka The Sims 4: Seasons

I will have a Part 2 at some point soon and may write an actual review, but for the time being, I bring you:

Random thoughts and moments from Seasons after 8-10 hours of playing around:

Beekeeping is awesome. I love this added hobby. Except when the bees attack. Which is basically always. You bond and they attack, you walk by and they attack, you spray for mites and they attack, you sneeze in their general direction and they attack.

I LOVE the changes to Gardening. I love the seasonal plants. I am 100% here for it. It’s hard for me to have a sim that doesn’t love to garden. I’m probably over-compensating for my own unkempt landscaping. 

Below the cut, DEATH BY COLD... while wearing winter clothing... in the Spring...

Cut to my new family for some Seasons play- two sisters, off-the-grid kind of ladies, who live in a wagon/caravan with 85% of their home outdoors. I use a lot of cheats so I gave them both the traits of being hot and cold resistant (I figured they’d be acclimated, having spent most of their lives outside).

So they’re doing their thing- it’s alternating between cool and cold in Spring so they’re both dressed in their cold weather clothing. I then get a notification that Destiny is going to freeze to death if I don’t get her warm soon. So I change her into a fresh set of cold weather clothing (it had been raining so I figured she could be wet) and set her by the outdoor heater to warm up.

No dice. Still -99 moodlet from freezing. So I sent her inside the caravan to hopefully warm up in bed- one of the only ‘indoor’ spaces on the lot. She doesn’t even make it inside before she turns into a piece of abstract art. Destiny the human popsicle. At this point, ‘Ol Grim is already on his way.

I had her whole future planned out. Destiny’s older sister tries to reason with Grimmy- but that just pisses him off and he officially kills her dead. Don’t worry though, we gave her a nice funeral.

Joie is really digging creating flower arrangements. I haven’t had a chance to expand this skill much but I’m really digging it so far. Finally, something to do with the plethora of flowers I’m constantly growing. I’m having some issues with my retail interactions (prior to this install) but these will be perfect for the flower shop she and her girlfriend own. 

I really LOVE the Holidays and the ability to customize the calendar. I get really into the ‘stories’ of my gameplay and so my gypsies celebrate harvest festivals, while my witches celebrate solstices and sabbats (and hang with their ghost bros), and my normies get all the standard holidays. The decor options are great, I love the pendants and lights. I love the ability to set ways in which to celebrate. It’s just fab.

The freaking FLOWER BUNNY, you guys. I love him. I want to make every day Egg Hunt / Easter or maybe just include him in every holiday. He is both precious and creeptastic and I love it. The souviner eggs are pretty sweet, too.

Love Day is cute- the flower exchanges, the flirting. But mostly the decor. I’m a sucker for heart garland.

I haven’t had a chance to play through all the seasons or holidays yet but I am loving this core addition.

The rain and mud have made things very interesting (and dirty) for my gypsy sims who happen to live 85% outdoors. I scared my fiance with my mad cackling every time one of them would slip in the mud.

Poor Destiny was angry AF and needed a bath after that fourth face-plant in the mud.

I have only tried rollerskating so far but it’s pretty sweet. I have yet to hit Winter but I see a lot of ice skating in my future. I had Sims who were super into that with past incarnations (who else misses the ski resorts??)

And on that note, I conclude what I think will likely be Part 1 of several. Are you enjoying Seasons? Any features I need to try? Let me know!

M I A

I have been 100% missing from Simblr - I bought my first house in January and between my work as a writer and becoming a newly minted travel agent (need a vacation? I got you!)... I have been crazy busy. I worked the local renaissance faire and traveled a bit.

But I am officially making time for posting (and hopefully catching up) on Sims things soon. I may skip a bit of the legacy stuff to get to the juicy parts.

I have been playing a TON in my (limited) free time (ie: staying up way too late) and with Seasons just released... I am in Sim city. Ha.

So expect more soon! I basically have no followers but if you noticed I was gone-- I’m back!

Body Language - The Project SKIN Redux

Ok, Here’s The SKIN update for the new Patch, I revamped most of the original EA tones and also fixed up the newly added tones with the patch.

Usual things were fixed. Pre Baked Details, Odd facial discolorations and Pixellation were removed. 

While I didn’t touch the Vampire or The Red Blue and Green Skins, I did update them so they will reflect the new sorting order the EA Skintones Occupy and not mingle in. You will want to DL those as it will keep the skins from mingling with the natural skintones.

I did not update the Vitiligo version as It’s not being used much by me anymore, and I just haven’t been feeling too up to it. If you want to update those skins, Feel free :)
