Hiii, I really like your art work! but I was just curious, through all the amazing digital art you do, have you ever done a self portrait?
No I haven’t, but I thought about it tho, but I just don’t want to stare at a picture of myself for several hours

I need to get more serious with my art. I don’t do that many pieces for me to even see that much improvement anymore. And I’m going to go back to photomanips for a while. Find my own style and develop it

Skin is the most frustrating for me paint, but it's also one of the funnest to do. The thing to remember about skin is that you can choose a wide range of colors, colors that are complete opposite, and it would not matter. Unlike hair, I tend to start of with my medium shade (base) then I pick my light source, and after that every thing falls into place. Never forget about your light source. Also I add random colors as I go on. I might be painting with an olive skin tone, but I will throw in some blues and pinks as I go along.
Many artist will tell you not to use black on the skin, but I still do. But I use it on very low opacity usually around 5-10%. Same goes with the dash of colors. I use them on very low opacity

This isn't really a tutorial, it's more of a guide/tip. Basically things I've learned about hair. This is one of the many ways I do hair.
My brush settings: I usually change my opacity/hardness/size of my brush depending on what I'm painting. I use the same settings for skin also.
