Verso is amazing in capturing how meticulous, manipulative and calculated Tom is. The best part tho I’d say is how naive young Hermione is, makes us wonder how much of her being the mature one was due to coming of age in a war (and having to save Harry and Ron’s lives several times lol)

The visitor's entrance wasn't a very far walk, and when it was their turn to hop in and Tom stepped into the small phone booth with her, Hermione pinched herself.

Only in her dreams had she ever been so close to him, close enough to see his individual eyelashes, to count the moles on his neck, and in the enclosed space, he smelled... crisp, like freshly cleaned linen. Just the way the potions classroom had smelled the year before.

Currently reading 'This is how you lose the time war', by fleabagshair

I haven't read much yet, only about 16%, but I already love it so much.

It's my first time actually reading in english. All my attempts so far fell short because I didn't feel like I got involved in the story as much as the ones written in my mother language, maybe that's something other people feel as well.

But something clicked in my head while reading this one. It keeps me up at night and brings me such comfort and makes me laugh and all that. The characters are all so well written and actually true to canon. It's like a breath of fresh air to read a playful, cynical and vulnerable Tom Riddle every once in a while. Everything feels very natural, which is a prime aspect for tomione fanfics.

I just love it. Maybe it's not new to other old readers like me, but if you haven't read it yet... you can find it here!
