“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!”...

Twisted Tree Branches Burst From Stunning Wooden Frames by Darryl Cox
Oregon-based designer Darryl Cox creates stunning surreal picture frames by infusing forest’s tree branches into vintage frames. The twisted branches beautifully and cohesively adapt to the wooden frames as a seamless continuation of its identity. Cox artistically and elegantly reminds us that these man-made pieces originated from nature’s natural creation, which doesn’t follow the human laws of symmetrical beauty. You can find his creations on his Etsy shop.

I agree with this.

In my experience, everyone will say they want to discover the Truth, right up until they realize that the Truth will rob them of their deepest held ideas, beliefs, hopes, and dreams. The freedom of enlightenment means much more than the experience of love and peace. It means discovering a Truth that will turn your view of self and life upside-down. For one who is truly ready, this will be unimaginably liberating. But for one who is still clinging in any way, this will be extremely challenging indeed. How does one know if they are ready? One is ready when they are willing to be absolutely consumed, when they are willing to be fuel for a fire without end.

Seeing these always remind me of my love. A few months after him and I started seeing each other we tripped on L for our second time together and witnessed hundreds of starlings flying across the sky in beautiful formations. We sat there in awe, tripping our balls off, then looked over at each other and knew we witnessed something so shockingly beautiful together. Over half a year later we were tripping again during the summer time and witnessed a field fulllll of hundreds of lightning bugs. We held each other while we took in such a beautiful site that neither of us have ever witnessed. It truly is amazing seeing such beautiful instances in nature with your best friend & lover while you are feeling what you feel on LSD.

The shapes you see here are made up of birds — a murmuration of starlings, to be precise, as seen recently in southern Israel. See more photos here.
