[Announcement] About My Private X Account

A little while ago, I quietly made a private account on X.

To my surprise, I recently got several follow requests from people I know on Tumblr—honestly, I was shocked!

(I only mentioned it briefly on my TL and deleted the post right away… how did they even find me!? 🤣)

I truly appreciate the requests, but I’m going to decline them all for now 🙇‍♀️

The reason is simple: that account isn’t for sharing art or early previews.

What you’ll find there is just stuff like:

・“I broke 3 sewing machine needles making a plushie”

・“Trains along the coast stopped because of the earthquake”

…basically random daily rambling. No new artworks, no early access 🙇‍♀️

So honestly, there’s nothing fun to see there 😭

That account was created only to avoid drama and to connect with Japanese fandom mutuals.

Some time ago, when I tried to be more active, I ended up being asked to do things I was really uncomfortable with—like taking actions toward others that I didn’t agree with. It was stressful.

So now, I keep interactions on my main account (X @ tabateraft) to a minimum.

But I still want to stay connected with my mutuals, which is why I opened the private account.

If we’re connected on Tumblr, I’d love to keep chatting here instead 🙇‍♀️

I know many people in the fandom love socializing (and I’m happy when people reach out to me, too!).

But for me, creating comes first, and I’d rather spend energy making more art than dealing with stressful situations.

Other notes:

I can only deliver scanned version (hope you guys don't mind).

I use both watercolor and gouache so you can choose which one you like more.

You can revise the sketches two times. Please do not change what has been approved after I move to the next step! Once I start coloring I cannot change the sketch :(

I DO draw fanarts, not-so-complicated monster/mech/animals (which I'm not very confident but I'll try my best 🥹)

I DONT draw NSFW and gore. I will reject the order if I find something I cannot draw!

💫 I wasn’t happy with how Ominis and Aurellia’s faces looked, so I decided to redraw them 🎨💕. Normally, even if I spot things I want to fix, I just move on and try to improve in the next piece ✨ — but for June Bride, I really wanted to finish it with faces I felt truly satisfied with 🕊💍.

I actually tried making 3D head models for Ominis and Aurellia, but it didn’t work out the way I hoped 😅. In the end, I redrew them using my own references and screenshots 📸✏️. Especially for Aurellia — I feel like she looks more like herself without relying on a 3D model ☺️💖.

I’m keeping the previous version as a little memory 🫶 — thank you so much for looking! 💐✨

💭 According to Greek mythology, France’s Île de la Cité was said to be where Aphrodite descended — an island of love 💕✨. Wouldn’t it be magical if such an island existed in the wizarding world too? 🕊 I like to imagine Ominis and Aurellia, who could never hope for a wedding blessed by family or friends, secretly holding a small ceremony on a lonely island, just the two of them 🌿💍. In my headcanon, Aurellia disappears from her family in the summer of 1897 to live with Ominis. By 1898, they wouldn’t have been able to afford a proper wedding dress, but I think she might have at least brought a veil, and they pledged their love on that island 🤍.

Also, in ancient Rome, people believed a vein in the left ring finger led directly to the heart ❤️ — that’s why the wedding ring is worn there 💫. I first heard this about 20 years ago, and I’ve always found it so romantic 🥺💖. That’s why I added a line about it in the lower corner of this illustration ✨

WIP 🌿 I'm currently working on a June Bride-themed piece featuring Ominis and Aurellia 💍✨ At the same time, I'm putting together a story intro for the two of them 📖🕊️

I was a bit torn on how to structure it, but I’ve decided to go with the idea that Aurellia mysteriously disappears from her Muggle family after graduation… and the story is told through the documents the Ministry of Magic discovers during their search for her 🔍💼 These will include things like diaries, letters she wrote or received, and other personal items ✉️📜 — she’s the type who kept a journal after all 😌🖋️

It’ll probably be quite long, so I might post it in several parts 💭📚 Since I know there are others (including myself!) who aren't native English speakers, I’ll be adding text versions of everything too 💬🌍

So! The image I'm sharing today is one of the files from the Department of Mysteries, featuring information about Aurellia, who vanished after graduation and is now a classified missing person case (of course, all of this is fictional and part of my own AU!) 🧙‍♀️📁✨

I’ll need to create quite a few documents for this project, so I’m teaming up with my image editing software and doing my best! 💪🔥
