1 post
Every second Wednesday of the month we’ll be serving up 20 tracks for your listening pleasure! ‘Side A’ will feature heavier rock/metal/prog tracks and ‘Side B’ will be more indie folk, experimental, atmospheric jams. We’ll also be having artist, client and guest takeovers to keep things fresh! We will always feature a blend of new music and old favourites alongside TR clients.

SIDE A
The Doomed - A Perfect Circle A stunning track from their glorious new album Eat The Elephant which came out on Apr 20. I listened to it four times on release day and I’m in no way ashamed to admit that.
Luminary - TesseracT The title track (and also my favourite) from their short but stonking album that was also released on Apr 20.
Addicted! - Devin Townsend Project With Devin closing up shop on DTP and announcing a lovely collectors vinyl (that will be mine, oh yes, it will be mine), it seems only fitting to include one of my favourite tracks on this month’s playlist.
Saviours - Shattered Skies *TABULA RASA ARTIST* SS will be releasing a new track very soon! It’ll be included it on next month’s playlist so for now here’s a classic from The World We Used To Know.
What a Wonderful Day - Voyager Voyager have announced a bunch of UK dates in June! Look forward to catching them at a couple. This song may have been rinsed a little over the past few ‘wonderful day’s...
Interdimensional Summit - Dimmu Borgir Eonian was released last Friday May 4 and I’ve been digging it! This track has been in consistent rotation at camp Tabula Rasa since its release in February.
O Father O Satan O Sun! (live) - Behemoth A classic belter from the extreme metal overlords but HAVE YOU SEEN THE VIDEO?? Gorgeous work from Grupa 13.
Black Dog - Shields Another album release from Apr 20, this powerful track by Shields has been in my head since I watched the awesome video by Life Is Art Visuals. A very honest and powerful depiction of depression.
Too Far Gone - Cane Hill Love a bit of stompy balls-out metal, Ian Rockett of Shattered Skies came across these guys on WWE’s NXT takeover and we’ve been spinning this track (loudly) since!
Matter - Arcane Roots Its been a whole year since this song came out? It’s on regular rotation in the TR office and it’s also great track to play on long drives with the windows down!
SIDE B
Sunday Lunch - Carpenter Brut Amazing band, amazing album, amazing BBQ soundtrack.
Hanging On - Knower When the sunshine hits, it’s very hard to resist a bit of KNOWER.
Salt of the Earth - Good Tiger A recent discovery for me, I've fallen in love with Good Tiger’s sound. Their latest album, released in February this year, has some powerful tracks and it was very difficult choosing just one to include here!
きみのみかた - Kyary Pamyu Pamyu A right ol earworm of a track showing a more mature sound for the J-Pop superstar. I especially enjoyed the perfectly choreographed, drenched in pink music video!
Index - Portico Quartet Released their latest lush atmospheric album at the end of April. Here’s a taster!
All Is Full Of Love (live) - Bjork Bjork is performing in Victoria Park @ All Points East on Sun May 27. I resisted including a glorious track named Tabula Rasa from her latest and instead went with one of my all time favourite songs.
Corners - Remayn *TABULA RASA ARTIST* Remayn released the first single from his debut album, Pressure in Apr. Check out the beautiful video by Luke Bateman.
Burn It Down - Daughter One of my favourite bands, who recently won a Grammy for their soundtrack for the game Life Is Strange: Before The Storm, certainly deserve a cheeky slot on our first mixtape!
Heston Services - Throatpunch City Rumour has it Throatpunch City is hitting up the studio soon! Big love for these local guys who provide a killer combo of hilariously punny song titles and beautiful, complex mathy rock. Definitely worth a listen.
Nates - Beirut For those balmy evenings drinking a beer and wafting the wasps away from your dinner, I have included this classic from Beirut.
