you just got a shitty new job and you’re trying to make the best of it but you have to move to a recently active war zone and the office is literally in in shambles and your new coworker immediately makes sure you know just how much she hates you and the man who’s arguably responsible for your wife’s death shows up to give you a pep talk while a guy formerly in charge of your new department sends you a passive-aggressive (and vaguely flirtatious) Skype call that basically confirms he plans to be an ongoing pain in your ass. also gods from a metaphysical plane beyond human comprehension contact you directly so that you can explain linear time to them while also replaying one of the most traumatic moments in your life and in return they basically appoint you as figurehead for a religion you don’t even believe in. on an unrelated note, you’ve blackmailed the shadiest guy in the office to stick around so that the whole mini-economy doesn’t collapse and meanwhile the people next door are still insisting that you are the official Space Moses. it’s only been a few days

Getafix is a true workaholic who hates sleeping and can go up to a week without it, but he’ll then have to crash for an entire day afterwards

it's so important to me that ppl don't forget that McCoy never attended Starfleet Academy in TOS.....seeing references to him at Starfleet Academy does in fact set my back teeth on edge tbh.......it's soooo important to me that he was a civilian all through his schooling, and imo it helps inform so much of why he is the way that he is.....this is a huge pet peeve of mine tbh, truly does make me wince, I'd almost rather you give him brown eyes than say he went to the Academy lmao
