given that the 30th anniversary of resident evil is next year and it will have been three years since the last game release, i am interested to see if they’ll end up remaking re1 again. obviously the 2002 remake still holds up REMARKABLY well considering it’s 23 years old, but it is also 23 years old. the style of the games has changed dramatically TWICE since its release. considering that they remade re4 even though the 2005 version is available on everything and sells well to this day, it’s definitely not out of the realm of possibility.

but also. it would be very very funny if that is what they choose to prioritize. code veronica has been found dead in antarctica
