Theres this strange thing about being someone with a significant ammount of followers on the internet.

Its like.. these people know you, they follow your posts, they see your rambles. But you don’t know them, you have no control over who’s seeing your stuff in fact, right? 

And sometimes that means nothing, its just a bunch of strangers that have a little closure with you that sometimes will leave you nice messages or engage in a conversation or make content, thats pretty nice in fact! I enjoy those little interactions! 

But theres some people... that simply do not understand how like... uni-directional this whole thing is. Like, some people really jump into inboxes acting like the person they’re talking to is their best friend, which leads to some pretty awkward times. Like, i act a certain way around my friends, but sometimes i dont like it when total strangers act the same way around me! I swear ive had people send me extremely personal stuff or like, extremely rude things said in jest or even sexual stuff that bordered harassment! And I know they did it because they know me! They know me well! Except i dont know them!!!

So the message here is please dont treat random internet people like you would treat your closest friends, specially if that involves asking for favors or getting too personal or getting super rude. Its really uncomfortable, im still a random person in the internet.
