#it's the fact that the air shoes are literally and directly stated to be mobility aids to help him cope with the constant strain he's under#like yes the inhibitor rings are also aids but it's difficult to map them onto irl experiences of disability.#because 'these rings prevent you rapidly mutating and/or exploding' is a fantastical solution to a fantastical issue#but 'these shoes help you move because otherwise moving is painful and exhausting' is!!! very relatable!!!#and also sheds new light onto his reliance on teleporting around#and the motorcycle come to the think of it#Leah get off tumblr#sth

I was rereading my notes about Project:Waffle and I realized I never fleshed a couple designs for arch one so here you go!
Here's the designs for the Radiance (right) manifesting in the waking realm, and Wyrm (left) in armor he constructed out of pure soul.

#hollow knight#digital art#fanart#project:waffle#concept#Radiance can manifest in the waking realm but she is very weak there#unable to fly and barely able to teleport she manifests in a different form in the waking realm to be more mobile#her fighting style involves kicks and slashes and occasional projectiles (they take up a lot of power) and calling on infected bugs to help#she can double jump using those wings though#Wyrm's armor is made of pure soul and EXTREMELY durable and bright#he can construct it in an instant but it costs a lot of soul#he leaves room for his wings so he can fly#and he can see through the helmet despite the fact that there aren't any eye holes#he can see through anything made of pure soul X-ray style#and yes he took a perfectly good nail and adorned it with soul to look cooler#he is a bit more extra than he would like to admit

the final three minutes of total chaos for game 1 during match insilio vs rrq akira where insilio won and advancing to the wildcard final match
#istg the whole game here is just a chaos ffs especially after the troubleshoot pause during 30 minutes of gameplay#like...the moment insilio could have ended and won the game thanks to the winnions#but then kiing able to recall back to the base just in time and clear the minion waves up#while seigen and tekashi on other side using teleport via seigen's luoyi ult skills to tp to the insilio's base#but couldn't able to push the base crystal as insilio able to go back ther as well and slaying them both lmaooooooooo 😭😭#well yeah anyways#despite that the game 1 win by insilio made them automatically proceed to the wildcard final match#but rrq br having a reverse sweep win for this match by winning game 2 and game 3#kinda made them feel better at least 🥺🥺#like they still fighting hard until the end <3333#m6#mobile legends esports

I haven't played Starbound a lot recently but decided to play it again for the first time in a while and decided to make little homes in a handful of different planet types, and I'm pretty happy with how they turned out.
It was a lot of fun to re-use generated structures and pick out little decorations and outfits for each home.

#my post#starbound#i learned how to hide the ui while setting up to take these screenshots so thats nice#idk how these look on mobile or anything so uh. pictures#im not usually one to spend time building stuff like this in games like minecraft or... starbound but i did have a lot of fun making these#i had to make the tundra one twice bc i accidentally destroyed the teleport flag and lost the planet and lost my progress on it lol#i also was sitting around for a while ready to take the screenshot cuz i was waiting for the crops to finish growing#i think the jungle one is my favorite. ocean is a really close second#the volcanic one was hard to manage bc there are like meteor strikes on those planets and it destroys blocks they fall onto#im not great at doing this kind of stuff in games but i do like how these turned out i think theyre cute

i think engineer should have more alternate buildings
#one idea ive seen floated around is a pda that replaces your teleporters with jump/bounce pads#that launch teammates in the direction theyre set#so you trade off the long range mobility support for more short ranged flanking power#pair it up with the gunslinger and the widowmaker/frontier justice and be the worlds most annoying roaming battle engie#random rambles#tf2
