Lets look back at the efforts of HHF team who is consistently working on reaching out and encouraging people to speak up about their anorectal health. Yes! atleast one in each family suffers from either if piles, fissure, fistula or severe constipation. It becomes necessary to understand the root cause and seek proper treatment. At Wadebolai village 66 patients were diagnosed and helped with necessary medicines. Speacial thanks to Panchayat Samiti members, P.H.C. staff and ASHA workers for supporting us.

Throwback to the camp organised at Talegaon for people suffering from Anorectal issues with Hernia and Varicose Veins. 62 such patients were helped by proper diagnosis and medication. We understand that change begins with increasing awareness. Looking at the current lack of awareness and understanding of anorectal issues has made us realize how important it is to encourage people to speak up. Issues like constipation, piles, fissure, fistula are focused upon during these awareness camps, followed by free diagnosis and counselling sessions. At Waghale, 52 patients were diagnosed by Dr. Yogita Bholane and counselled by Miss Tejashree Khalate. Happy to begin the new year with two successful health awareness camps followed by medical checkup at Kunjirwadi and Nere . Total 147 patients (87+60) were benefitted with awareness lectures and medical checkup during this drive. Through these awareness lectures and medical camps HHF ensures to teach them the importance of healthy lifestyle. They are explained how changing few lifestyle habits can have a positive impact on their health. One of the better way to help the needy is to give them hand up rather than a hand out. While moving towards new medical practices, alternative care models are being forgotten. By applying modern techniques with a touch of traditional medical care, Healing Hands Foundation is trying to not only treat patients but teach them anorectal care. Issues like piles , fissure, fistula, constipation, with hernia and varicose veins are focused on during these awareness camps. Ignorance of these issues in initial stages leads to major health issues. So it is important to help them at the right time. During awareness camp at Dandekar pool and Primary Health Centre Gopalwadi, 100 patients were benefited with free health check up and medicines. We thank Dr. Jaymala Sonawane and Dr. Yogita Bholane for their countless efforts... ‘आरोग्यम् धनसंपदा’... जेष्ठ नागरिक दिन आनंद मेळावा निमित्त आंबी - रानवाडी ; ता. वेल्हे येथे मोफत आरोग्य शिबीर आयोजित करण्यात आले. हीलिंग हॅन्ड्स फॉउंडेशन, जनसेवा फॉउंडेशन, डी. वाय. पाटिल वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालय पिंपरी, जिल्हा परिषद आरोग्य विभाग सामाजिक न्याय व सबलीकरण भारत सरकार, व ग्रामपंचायत आंबी या सर्वांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने हे शिबीर यशस्वी ठरले. मूळव्याध, भगिंदर, बद्धकोष्ठता हॅ���्निया, व्हेरिकोज व्हेन्स, अशा 70 रुग्णांना या शिबिराचा लाभ घेता आला. हीलिंग हॅन्ड्स फॉउंडेशन च्या डॉ. योगिता भोलाने यांनी रुग्णांना तपासले, सौं मधुरा भाटे व सौं अनिता सैद यांनी मार्गदर्शन केले. रुग्णांनी तपासणी दरम्यान मोफत औषध वाटप करण्यात आले. "Health is Wealth" On the occassion of the Senior Citizens Day - Anand Melava - a free health check-up camp was organised at Ambi-Ranwadi; Tal.- Velhe This camp was successfully arranged under the guidance of District Council Health Department, Social Justice and Empowerment Government of India, GramPanchayat-Ambi, and in coordination with Janseva Foundation and expert doctors of D.Y. Patil Medical College Pimpri. Healing Hands Foundation was a part of this initiative and 70 patients suffering from piles, fistula, constipation, hernia, and varicose veins were helped with free diagnosis and medicines.
