Getting Clint for a team up was a mixed bag of he's incredibly good at what he does; he has to be good at what he does. It's his whole shctick to be able to go toe to toe with gods and geniuses with only a dinky little bow and some arrows (describing his tools and weapons as such a purpoeful attempt to be underestimated). The pros to Hawkeye being on one's side was many, but the cons came at the expense of his shining personality.

That and he could talk, and talk, and get started on a tangent. Loud mouth about this or that. He's a real spitfire when one get him going, especially if one decides to start the many debates that he liked to argue over. The burger debate, the pizza one, coffee, were reboots ever any good... Name the mundane debate and Clint had an opinion.

That's how they got here, Clint arguing a point because someone started it and he was taking up comms chatter and getting everyone a little distracted, wrapped up into a heated eighties film star debates. Apparently it's gotten on his match-up (x-men and avengers who would see the day) nerves when he says STOP TALKING.

The words should get him to stop and look, determine if he could continue talking or not. Normall if he risked talking more, he'd incite rage but Summers skips over step two and three than surprises with a step he hadn't even known was in the book. HE KISSES HIM? Those were definitely lips on his lips and afterwards, Clint is dazed. Gone entirely mute and simply staring at Summers, ❝ Uhh... what? ❞ is all he has forgotten and he has no idea what he had been doing or saying.

So it worked. He stopped talking. ❝ Uhhhh... Summers? ❞
