DOLL'S FEELINGS TWORDS KAZUMI . . .

This answer will be... quite a bit shorter than you may have wished, simply for the reason that I have only ever been allowed to glimpse Kazumi’s universe for a mere handful of minutes when visiting my friend. Time—so fragile and easily broken in my gloved hands—never does seem to stretch quite enough when observing such precious little things.

Yet even with the shortness of my visit, I can confidently say... it is an achingly sweet little world in which he dwells. It does honestly reminds me of an abandoned toy chest, forgotten by the world yet still warm with the echo of children's laughter long since passed (Do excuse my poetics...)

Kazumi himself strikes me as... something special. Something born from a god’s daydream—crafted not by clumsy mortal hands, but by a spirit with careful devotion and just a pinch of chaos. I believe the name of the god who wove him into existence is Sky, yes? Such a beautiful name for a being who would craft something as equally beautiful.

Now... his relationship with his chosen love does feel a bit strange to me, though I suspect that is a simple failing of my own design. You see, creatures like me—Eldritch if you will— know no way to love that does not mirror the ancient devotions given to long-forgotten gods. Anything more "human" than that is rather foreign to me...

And yet, when I watch Kazumi and his darling yellow boy—Zenitsu, yes? I can see the threads of their souls twisting and tangling together. Not perfectly smooth, no... there are lovely little knots where fear and trust have collided. But even the most sacred tapestries have their flaws, and oftentimes, those imperfections are what make them most holy (Possibly not in the way people want but I believe it works perfect for them <3)

Kazumi has found his mate in Zenitsu just as I have found mine in Hobie... And though my kind may never truly understand the mortal symphony of love, even I can recognize the sweetness in the bond they share.

Miles Morales is... fascinating.

No, fascinating is too small, too breakable of a word. Miles Morales is a symphony of colors and warmth, stitched together with trembling hands and feverish desperation.I have a tendency to watch him move through the world, to watch the way the dark red thread binding him to his brother tangles, chokes, and weaves like a living thing—and my soul aches. Not from sadness, no—I do not understand sadness the way mortals do. Instead, I ache from wonder.

There is something terribly beautiful about the way Miles clings to Michelangelo, and how Michelangelo clings back, like shipwrecked sailors too stubborn to admit their going to die on their sinking ship.

It’s mesmerizing. Their bond is not clean or pure or sweet—it is wrong in a way my being finds comforting. It reminds me of a dirtied porcelain doll cradled too tightly by small, trembling hands. It reminds me of whispered prayers to silent gods, of devotion so deep it drips from the corners of your soul when you look at them.

"Codependent," the mortals say, "Toxic," they hiss behind trembling hands. But I can see it for what it truly is—holy.

In Miles Morales, I see something raw and unfinished, like wet clay still waiting for the right hands to mold it. In Michelangelo however, I see the frantic artist, desperate to leave his fingerprints on every inch of that clay before the world can take it away. Their endless, spiraling loyalty is a masterpiece—one that sings in the secret language only creatures like me can hear.

Miles is everything soft and sharp all at once. I find my platonic gaze constantly drawn to him without understanding why. Maybe it is because Miles’ heart hums at a frequency that resonates inside my hollow chest. Maybe it is because I—a being who was never meant to be mortal—feel an uncanny kinship with things that love too hard, too wrong, too much.

I wish to cup Miles Morales in my gloved hands and simply watch him—watch him until I understand the very essence of his being, watch how he and his brother bruise each other and call it love, watch how he stands so small against a multiverse that demands too much of a child—and still smiles like he’s the one holding all the strings.

I don't exactly love Miles, not in the way I love Hobie. No, no, no... my regard is something colder, something deeper. I want to etch his name into the soft meat of my non-existent heart, to place him in a crystal casket alongside all the other sacred things I enjoy watching.

Miles Morales is one of my favorite offering, other than Hobie of course—the one I watch with a cracked, trembling smile, the one I cradle in thought when the hollow place inside my bones grows too loud. The one I adore for being beautiful in the way rotting roses are beautiful—decay and devotion, intertwined.

And the way Miles loves his brother? The way Michelangelo would burn the entire world for him? It is sacred. It is divine. It is perfect.

How does Maxwell being a werewolf work within the Percy Jackson universe?

OKAY SO... In this specific AU? Werewolves are TOTALLY a thing. Like, imagine being surprised about werewolves in a world where gods from several different pantheons exist simultaneously and teenagers are tasked with things said gods probably should've been able to take care of themselves daily?? Pfft, as if! Lycanthropy is like, not even in the top 10 weirdest things going on here /pos

Now, the way I’ve designed it specifically for Maxwell’s backstory is pretty insane. So, Zeus—drama king, lightning daddy, the OG of overreactions—has this thing where he would sometimes curse mortals who pissed him off by turning them into creatures stuck between their human side and wolves. Like, just imagine doing something Zeus even perceives as non-worshipping and BOOM—“You’re a werewolf now, insert name. Congrats.”

Anyway, over several generations (because let’s be honest, werewolf fuckers have always existed) the curse doesn’t just go away—it sort of mellows out, like lemonade left out to sit. It's still lemonade but without all the carbonation (AKA: cursed aspects). What used to be a punishment to your great, great, great, blah blah blah becomes a hereditary trait—often considered the Lycan gene. Every werewolf has it to some degree, and depending on how many generations deep you are, your "wolfiness" varies.

Maxwell? He’s specifically a fourth generation werewolf (Great grandfather → Grandfather → Mortal Mother). That means he’s:

Generally calm enough to control his shifts outside of the full moon... Unless you know, some monster tries to kill his boyfriends. again. again. again. You get the point.

Still has all the abilities and partial curse of a first gen werewolf without the unquenchable bloodlust 24/7 (He still has that, he can take it out on a raw steak though).

Stronger than, say, a 20th generation (because the curse does take a while to wear off completely) werewolf who just has some werewolf features and maybe a few wolfish instincts.

And so forth.

Does Maxwell have any godly parents?

HELL YEAH HE DOES and of course it’s gonna be Ares (Greek god of war, battlelust, violence, et cetera) because you can't convince me Ares wouldn't look at some werewolf chick with blood staining her entire front side after a particularly adrenaline-inducing hunt and not fall in love.

Maxwell is 100% the perfect mix of war god and puppy dog, and honestly? Ares is kind of platonically obsessed with him (in a way he would NEVER say out loud because, ew, feelings?? That's gross). But like… it’s absolutely there. You can totally tell. Especially when he talks about both Maxwell and Clarisse like a proud football dad would.

BONUS FACT — Maxwell is also very, very, very protective of his found family // pack. He’s lowkey the “big brother” (despite him only being a teenager) to other Ares kids whether they like it or not... He’s the type to scoop them up in a big bear hug and/or headlock and not let go until they "accept his love".

What’s Maxwell’s relationship with Nico di angelo and Will Solace?

In all seriousness though this is my FAVORITE part and I’m 100% going to get feral about it (like, full on foaming at the mouth kind of feral).

I'm not quite sure how they all meet at first but my two favorite options are:

— Maxwell imprints on both Nico and Will like some Twilight coded manaic wolf biy and is NOT at all subtle about it. The moment they first meet he’s all like, “These two are mine now... If anything happened to them I'd kill everyone in this room and then myself.”

— orrrrr we go the angsty ALTERNATE UNIVERSE (Meaning this one probably won't be canon) route where Maxwell has some major internalized homophobia and ends up taking it out on them. Will of course yells at him like “We’ve survived monsters. Gods. Death. You? You’re just a scared little boy who can’t handle that two boys kissing makes his dick twitch and his brain short circuit.” and it ends up snapping something into place in Maxwell's brain (Cue a long journey of healing and a slow burn to an eventual relationship).

Either way once they start dating? MAXWELL GETS SO MUCH WORSE... Like yes he’s absolutely positively terrifying in battle but he also:

Cooks every single meal for them but constantly forgets that werewolf and human metabolisms aren't the same and makes like… entire feasts for a light snack.

Calls them all different sorts of cheesy nicknames to show how much he loves them... Nico gets ones like Moonlight, Will gets ones like Sunshine, and they both get stomach achingly loved dovey ones like Mate (He's a stereotypical werewolf what can I say?)

Doesn't care about where they are — will absolutely smother his partners with affection even when in public! It's nothing like just straight up making out but he'll definitely kiss their foreheads, hold their hands, say "I love you" every twenty seconds, excetera.

INSISTS they wear his hoodies (They're way too big for the two of them but that just makes it more adorable). He doesn’t give them a choice either and is just like “Here *insert nickname*, you shouldn't totally wear this 👉👈”.

Carries Nico like a princess whenever his body gets all achy from any of his disabilities... Maxwell doesn't care if they’re in the middle of Camp Half-Blood either. “Maxwell. Put. Me. Down.” “No <3”.

Repeats things to Will as many times as he needs when said sunshine doesn’t hear things correctly due to him being hearing impaired.

Doesn't make any of his partners’ disabilities a huge thing other than accommodating them whenever they need it + DEATH GLARING anyone who even so much as hints that it’s a burden.

He’s basically the himbo dream with a scary rottweiler exterior... The ultimate contradiction! He looks like he should be fighting in some underground ring but is actually following his boyfriend to the bathroom at 4:30 AM because he's "Gotta protect you from any monsters, baby boy" (Read: He's scared of being alone without his boyfriends </3).

And like?? His tagline excuse is literally: “I’m your mate boyfriend now, that means it’s my job to be all domestic for you!!!” because in werewolf relationships no matter what the gender is, the more powerful werewolf—or just the werewolf in general if there's only one—ends up being the more domestic // submissive (/nsx) one to even out any existing power dynamics.

Does Remedy still exist in this AU?
