[ OKAY NOBODY ASKED FOR THIS BUT...Not me actually being so giddy and happy because I figured out a small thing I’ve been trying to solve with Kai for years and found today by a complete fluke. Allow me to explain the most mundane thing ever under the cut. ] 

This motherfucker right here (sorry for the shitty ahs lighting). Idk the shape of the bottle caught my interest?? because it doesn’t look like your average beer bottle which you do see Kai have in the first ep sitting around. I’ve been trying to figure out what brand (if any) for like 2 years with no luck. 

Until today ...

Ladies and gentleman, the rat canonically drinks ale. And I know the screenshot I gave is terrible, but the one he probably drinks is Wanderer, but I think he also drinks Diabolical as well. The best part is that Nor.th P.eak is a Michigan owned brewery. Kai drinks ale made in his own state. This ale also looks like it’s got an alcohol % of like 4.2% I believe? There’s not a whole lot of info, but my headcanon of Kai being a lightweight could hold up if that were the case. Not to mention he’s clearly taking it in conjunction with his Adderall which is obviously NOT GOOD.

A list of lies told by Kai in canon that I am debunking/confirming for my own portrayal, but mainly I am bullying him: 

"What kind of work do you do?" "Computers. Coding. I guess they call us app developers now."  - This is a believable possibility that he's done some of this. He knows how to wipe computers, phones, and security cameras. I do sort of have this in my canon, but he doesn't ever make money off of it and wouldn't consider it a job. 

"I was kind of a freak when I was a kid." - Absolutely he was a little freak who didn't ever have many friends or good social skills but we love him.

"I have a 135 IQ." - This whole thing is literally the only thing I take into my canon. He does in fact have a high IQ. Doesn't mean he's not a total dumbass but still.

"I tested at a genius level at ten." - Again, a part of my canon.

"I was invited to join Mensa at 14."- Also a part of my canon, though nothing ever came of this.

"I was in the army. I served a tour in Iraq." - Although I admit this would've been kind of an interesting take on Kai if he served, it's complete crap. While it's possible timeline-wise, it would be very smooshed in with his years in college. Plus I mean look at him in the flashback, that man absolutely was not in the army. 

"Came home and graduated in three from Yale with a double degree in poli sci and feminist studies." - I know this isn't true purely based off the fact that the only thing Scott ever mentions in this area is Kai's religious studies degree. Not to mention that Kai would probably never take a feminist studies course, honestly this sounds more like something he pulled from Winter.

“I have a brown belt in karate.” - The color stands for Bullshit.

[ MAINS CALL because I’m currently redoing my google doc and wanna slap some of y’all beautiful people on there if you want <3 What this means is that although I might write with other versions of specific muse, yours will be the “main” one so to speak. That being said, I am totally fine with having multiple mains of the same muse. Multis specify which muse! ]

[ I know I’ve talked about this before, but as far as Kai becoming a parent is concerned, he really, really wants to be one at some point in his life. He likes the idea that he even has kids that exist due to his sperm donations. This does not mean that he’d necessarily make a good one. Kai’s got a very low patience tolerance on top of literally everything else about his personality. 

However, this doesn’t necessarily mean he’d be an unloving father 24/7. As seen with Oz, he does at least make an attempt & since I headcanon that he practically had to help raise Winter he does have some experience with it. I feel like when his children are in the baby-10 year old stages, he’s often surprisingly sweet with kids. It’s only until those kids start forming their own opinions and start snapping back at Kai more frequently that he’d begin to show his true colors. Basically if he can’t shove his kids onto his partners so they can do most of the parenting, he won’t be able to do it. ]

name:   Kai Joseph Anderson

residence:  Brookfield Heights, Michigan.

the  number  of  blankets:   One or two throw blankets. He runs on the warm side so when he does manage to sleep he doesn’t exactly want to be uncomfortable from sweating up a storm.

the  number  of  pillows:    Depends on where he falls asleep, if it’s on the bed or the couch then he has at least one or two pillows. If he falls asleep in his recliner then there’s usually no pillow in sight. 

type  of  clothes:   I’m guessing this is asking what clothes he wears when he sleeps. Normally when he’s settling down for the night it’ll be comfortable clothing like a loose-fitting t-shirts and sweatpants or shorts. Sometimes it’s mixed with no shirt, no pants, and a pair of boxers or a shirt and his boxers.

do  they  sleep  with  company?:   Only if he’s been having sex with someone and/or is manipulating someone into thinking he’s romantically interested so he lets them sleep next to him. Honestly, I can see him getting tired easily after having sex actually gives him a good night’s rest for once. Otherwise, no, Kai sleeps alone. 

does  it  matter  where  they  sleep?:  Nah not really. You’ll normally find him sleeping on either of the cushioned chairs, couch, or his bed in the basement.

what  do  they  do  if  they  cannot  fall  asleep?:   He basically just ends up just staying up, scrolling through his phone, going on his laptop, watches tv, reads a book, goes up to the kitchen to get a snack, or plays video games. Anything other than what he should be doing.

frequent  dreams,  nightmares?:   Frequent nightmares for sure, usually all trauma-induced and not just about his mom’s death, he’ll sometimes have very violent and gruesome nightmares just simply from all the killing he’s done/things he’s been exposed to online. If he dreams at all it’s not necessarily good things, more like very obscure and weird stuff. 

deep  slumber  or  naps?:   Bigger naps ranging about an hour to two hours each. The most sleep Kai really gets is maybe four hours for the day and that’s a rare occurrence. He’s an insomniac y’all. 

when  do  they  sleep?:   Literally whenever he ends up doing it. Kai doesn’t have a predictable sleeping schedule in the slightest, but he tries not to sleep during the day so he can get things done, especially after he gets elected as city councilman. 

what  could  wake  them  up?:  Nightmares, loud noises, auditory hallucinations, a general feeling of paranoia, his brain suddenly coming up with an idea for his movement in the middle of the night, someone physically waking him up by tapping/shaking his shoulder, etc.
