Katsuie squinted at Mouri. To be fair, rolling one’s eyes was not a sin in itself. However, Katsuie did not like the idea that the action meant that Mouri had a low opinion of Lady Oichi.

However, some might say that it is a more pitiful thing to never have loved, than to love unconditionally. ❜❜ Although Katsuie accepted Mouri’s insult, there was a hint of spite in his voice. If loving Lady Oichi made him the most pathetic man alive, then so be it. Katsuie considered his devotion to her to be noble.
