it was different, now that he was with his brother - different, considering he wasn’t used to actually being in the r.f.a. chat instead of hacking into it. everything felt completely strange and yet... it was much warmer than before. everything felt right. logging into the chat, he blinked; noticing hana was online. was she not busy...? glancing at the clock, he noticed it was noon. saeran typed, curious about the woman he’d dragged into everything for his plans.

it was rare to see saeran stumped on something. professors often claimed that the young man should be in maths and science classes, not ‘wasting his life’ on ‘the useless arts’. they weren’t useless to him... but what did anyone else know?

but he was stumped. what was he to draw...?

his professor had told him to draw something aside from flowers and clothing, away from objects - a subtle way to say ‘sketch people’. the art student was stumped - how did one... sketch a person? slamming his sketchbook closed, he shoved it into his backpack, standing up to leave, almost running into someone.

“i-i’m sorry - i didn’t mean to -”

saeran hadn’t even ran into her, he’d stopped just short, mind already telling him off itself for running into her.

being so busy lately, saeran had no time to head to church. so much so, that he’d missed out on the sermon the day he was actually able to. cursing himself inwardly, he stumbled over himself for a moment before sliding into a pew, picking up a hymn book and re-reading them to himself. perhaps he missed the sermon, but no one said anything about praying by yourself.

right?

his tone was a little harsher than he wanted it to be; but saeran couldn’t help it. squishing the plushie below his chin; he stared down, avoiding the gaze of the the older man with a little pout. he was not comfortable, yet, with v - everything took its toll.

saeran fiddled with his phone, curled up on hyun’s couch again. he had a habit of sticking around the actor whenever he needed time away from his brother; considering the actor was much easier to be around. while yoosung was more his age - he was far more social and saeran wasn’t good at dealing with that. hyun seemed to know limits and boundaries and treated him with respect.

“... what made you wanna be an actor, h-hyung?”

the slight stutter was embarrassing, but it was still new to call him ‘hyung’ - but saeran found it falling on his tongue lightly, much easier to say than ‘zen’ or ‘hyun’. it felt natural, even.
