rey hadn’t been in cedar grove for that long, but she was getting adjusted to her new surroundings. she just hoped that she wasn’t missing anything back at home since she had no idea what ben would do if he was unopposed by anyone. but she used her time in the town to try more and get more in tuned with the force in the town. rey sat down in the grass staring out at the lake, eating an apple. “isn’t this just so beautiful?” she asked the person next to her. she loved seeing so much green since she grew up on a desert planet.

“it’s taken me months to figure out what to do in this strange place, i’ve pretty much been just trying to find a way out. but now i’ve figured out that is pretty pointless, so i’m going to try to go to college. i don’t know how that will go. but people say it’s a smart thing to do.”

the jedi felt a smile on her face when she noticed a familiar face. in this place, rey was always happy to see people that she knew. she just hoped finn would recognize her. “finn, please tell me that is you?” she asked him.
