HERE ARE SOME THINGS I THINK ABOUT OFTEN ( denki and hanta addition)

Denki is really smart to be able to know how much wattage to use when fighting vs charging a phone

Sero canonly has a low strength score but is able to fling his classmates ?? Hori explain

Friendly reminder during the sports festival that Denki has 272 draft picks after his losing fight, and even Sero who went against todoroki had 14

Sero canonly has one of the highest scores in agility / speed on the urban battlefield (minus ofc the ones who obviously do like Tenya)

Denki has adhd and is dyslexic, this is a hc but there has been signs in the show / manga

Under the cut is a long ass ramble about my Kamis views on being considered the “dunce” of the class

It’s a classic case of “Being told you’re something so much you eventually become that thing”

From the beginning, Kaminari showed his intelligence in certain fields such as literature when he mentioned the American novelist Hemingway and the book “A farewell to arms” when being recommended a hero alias. 

My kami has major ADHD and is Dyslexic. He hyper fixates on certain subjects and things and some subjects don’t come as naturally such as math. Studying is very hard for him, nothing really ever seems to stick and he gets distracted very easily and what should be a 30 minute assignment turns into two hours. 

Not to mention there has been small moments where Kaminari is seen to be “short circuited” during class. Something he’s training to control but something he can’t help at times. If he’s in a state where his head is fuzzy and you can’t focus, he can’t retain class materials and will usually forget about them. 

This doesn’t even cover his quirk abilities.

There has been multiple cases of his classmates, his “friends” reprimanding his quirk use and actions whether its a real scenario or training. His short circuiting becoming a running gag among the class which started to brand him with the words “dunce, dumb, idiot”. Jokes at first, until he realized this is something he has no control over at this moment that he becomes a liability in that state. 

Even friends he seemed to have made at the very beginning such as Kirishima has openly called out Kaminaris actions in a negative way (ofc probably light hearted and meaning no ill will)

It all boils down to the blonde adopting this persona of the “Idiot classmate”. Being branded this at the very beginning and something he can’t seem to shake off despite his genuine efforts to prove to himself and his classmates that he is more capable than people think. 

It’s much easier to swallow down those dark feelings and laugh off the jokes and brush them off rather than confronting the situation.

This is heavily based on my headcanon in which Denkis father is a villain while his mother is a pro. Denkis loyalty being questioned due to his fathers background

Hello!!!! Anon! Sorry for ugly mobile post I'm just excited.

So you're 100% right, Denki does read Hemingway who is an american journalist who developed the iceberg theory.

Denki also knows exactly how much charge to use when fighting and when doing small tasks like charging a battery. It's much different from like "oh I know how to walk, I don't think about it I just do it". Quirks a different! He has to know exactly how much to put out.

Another thing I've pointed out in the past, Denki has low class scores sure but there is a factor I don't think most people see! During one of the manga panels / anime scenes, Denki is short circuited out DURING A CLASS. Whether that was from some incident or training beforehand is up to interpretation but imagine trying to retain information while your head feels fried, like having a flu in class, it's hard!

He may get scared when going into battles (who isn't, he's a kid) but he is very easy to regain himself. Take the licence exam for example, Smart as hell "don't talk to me extras" Bakugou threw his grenade at Denki and Denki knew what to do with it. If Bakugou didn't trust his intelligence and quick thinking I don't think he wouldn't have done it in the first place?

Kaminari doesn’t have much of a preference? of course he would love someone with a sense of humor and who can keep up with his antics but doesn’t mind someone who is more serious, finding it fun to loosen people up with clashing personalities. Maybe someone who is okay with his adhd and tendency to be a little ‘too much’.

Depends on the person. It’s easy for him to say ‘I love you’ to like his close friends. However, in a romantic sense? He is afraid of overstepping or going to fast.

Hard to say, he’s only 16 so not much knowledge in that field but he will tell you yes. Personally, he might get to excited at first so expect a lil shock before lips touch.

A   :   AFFECTION.   how does your muse show affection?

Kaminari is a very physically affectionate person. He likes holding hands, leaning on people and just touching because to him, touching skin is the most amount of trust anyone could give him. He will also embarrass your muse, aka will serenade them in the cafeteria or dorm common area.

Pokemom au stuff under cut!

SERO

Crobat and Gengar are from his childhood! He found the zubat injured and took it in as a kid. He found gastly a couple months later just kinda stalking him and they just bonded? They're both v v chill

Leavanny and Gilscor were caught in the first evolutions

Gallade was caught as a ralts when he was in middle school

Deino followed him one day more recently and took the babey in

Gengar and Sero are v similar, v chill and similar grins

KAMINARI

Raichu was his Pikachu he got from his mom when he was little

Wooper and Furret he caught, Furret being his first caught pokemon

Rotom came to him one day and stalked him til he was caught, Teddiursa was his moms but was attached to Kaminari so he was given him

Jolteon was found as an eevee alone and scared when Kaminari was in middle school, took him in

Raichu likes to lay on Kaminari and crush him

KIRISHIMA

Feraligatr was his first pokemon he was given(in their first evolution) and Lycanroc was the family pokemon that followed Kirishima everywhere

Flygon and Sandslash were found together as their first evolutions when Kirishima was exploring, he coaxed them with berries they they bonded instantly

Mienfoo was the only pokemon he caught and he gave the pokemon a chance to leave if they wanted, they also bonded

Togepi is the egg he was carrying!

Kirishima has never caught a Pokemon besides Mienfoo, they usually just come to him

MONOMA

Persian was the family pokemon Monoma clinged too as a kid

Florges and Wigglytuff were caught in the first evolutions

Sneasel attacked him when he was a middle school but Monoma realized they were just scared and bonded with them by being kind

Sylveon was his Eevee he got from his nanny when his parents forgot about his birthday again

Monoma found Mimikyu and gained it's trust by being gentle and kind

Monoma and his Sneasel are v similar in personality
