“I mean the people here are a lot nicer than the ones back home at the very least,” Jenny replied. The harder part was fitting in. Going to a private school was what she was used too and now she was in a public school, no uniforms, and she could be herself. There wasn’t the pressure of looking like she fit in with the kids she wen to school with when it came to her clothes. She could fit in without trying so hard but it was hard. Besides that she also had to keep a low profile and not let out her little secrets about being a heretic. It’s part of why she’d moved to Mystic Falls with her mother, the other part was to get back to who she was. But she still had her brother and dad back in New York not to mention her step mother and step siblings. “Please tell me that there’s something we can do for fun besides boy watch?”

“I wouldn’t try that if I were you,” Jenny shrugged as she watched the other girl. “Too many people have tried to swipe it apparently so Dr. Saltzman had a spell put on it.” The young heretic wasn’t really sure why so many thought it was wort the risk but now it was protected and no one wanted to try and swipe the old musty book that was probably worth more than anyone thought. “It’s supposed to be some ancient spellbook.”

“I’m trying to convince Dr. Saltzman and the other’s to let us have a school dance or I’ll just resort to throwing one for the town,” Jenny smiled. “Either way I’m going to need someone on my side to try and win them over. The town I have a few tricks up my sleeve that have nothing to with being a heretic and I’m sure that the town wouldn’t mind some funds coming in, maybe a fund raiser for something it needs.”
