“i’ve brought henry along to personally thank you for those gifts you got him, he was very, very excited to receive them when i got back. i made sure to tell him they were from you.” he looked down at his little three year old and smiled gently. “what do you say ?” he asked him. henry, always full of beans, thanked aline by jumping on her and giving her a big hug. one that lasted longer than usual but still not long. henry always had too much running around to do to ever hug for long.

he loved davina with his whole heart and all he wanted now was for this to just go smoothly. no more bumps in the road, or running away or tears over each other. he wanted them to stay together and find their happily ever after. he wanted to be able to stay like this, holding her close to him forever. she was the love of his life and he could only hope that he was hers too. “don’t be sorry. we don’t have to be sorry anymore.” he told her, pressing a gentle kiss to her cheek. he looked at her for a long moment and then swallowed hard, nodding his head. “i want you. it’s all i want in my life now. you and my boy. it’s the only place i can picture my life going. i just want to be with you and only you.” he looked at her and smiled softly, giving her a little squeeze. “you want a baby ?” he asked, more than thrilled by the news. he’d always wanted a big family, for henry to have a load of playmates. “can i have lemonade ? thank you baby.” he told her and started eating up.

joshua turned around when he finally saw mia walking in. “i did buy you a coffee, but you took so long that i drank it.” he said honestly. he was a dad going through a court case, he lived off coffee. he didn’t blame her though, everything at palmwood always ran late. he was surprised he was as early as he was. “however, since i’m feeling generous, i’ll order you another one and you can take a seat.”

joshua always loved hanging out with aline, she was refreshing. she was nice and easy to talk to, she knew joshua’s issues and didn’t judge him for them. and hoped he provided the same security and safety for her that she did for him. he’d brought her in some lunch, he’d been getting his anyway and thought of her and thought he’d bring it to her trailer. “i hope you’re in the mood for fries cos i got us some grub from sneakers.” he smiled as he walked into her trailer.

joshua was exhausted, it’d been a long day of work and phone calls and documents signed. despite just coming back off the cruise, he felt like he needed a break again. “you know what i think they should put in place here ? designated nap time. it works at my son’s daycare. they all lay down and have a nice doze together. i don’t see why us adults shouldn’t get to enjoy it too.”

as much as joshua liked mafe, he wasn’t a pepa fan at all. in joshua’s opinion there was more good to see in mafe, yes she attracted drama, but joshua could see past it and it was drama he saw affecting him or his son in there new future. pepa however. he was bad news. joshua could see right through his little act and he didn’t like him, not one bit. he didn’t trust the man at all. and he thought he was smart not to. that’s why he rolled his eyes when he saw him coming, immediately standing up. “looks like that’s my cue to leave.” he said, just because the other male was there.

moments like these     are the ones     that she holds      dear to     her heart ,    she had been spending      some time     with both henry     and     joshua , the park , ice cream  .       joshua had an errand     to do    and     she was more     than happy     to stay with henry     for a few hours    until he     was done.      even though henry     entertained her     and    kept her mind busy ,    she was anxious     and    on edge .     they’re watching jumanji ,      her leg is shaking     and     she’s playing.    with that      rings on her fingers .      a tactic that      she had acquired     recently .    though when     henry grabs her     hand in his ,     her heart     swells up     and      she smiles leaning     on the couch     smothering his small     head with kisses .      as the movie continues ,     henry falls asleep     on her leg ,     her hand going through     his locks    and      she soon drifts off      to sleep too .     though the keys     on the door.    wake her up     and    she sees josh.     her index finger       hovers over her lips ,      indicating to      be quiet .     she slowly gets up     and      settles him     on the couch ,     throwing the blanket      over him .     walking over     to josh     ❛   hey —- ❜      she presses a kiss     to his cheek ,     walking towards     the kitchen     ❛   did you     fix whatever     you needed     to do ? ❜ 

josh didn’t like leaving henry with anyone, but he trusted davina more than anyone else in the world. and leaving henry with her was the one thing that could prove it more than anything else. he really needed to get his car into the garage but henry didn’t wanna come and was kicking up a fuss over it, so it just made sense to leave him with davina. she looked over at davina and henry and smiled softly when he saw him sleeping. he went to the kitchen so he could grab a snack and they could talk without fear of waking henry. “all i get is a kiss on the cheek ? am i in trouble ?” he asked teasingly and put his hands on the sides of her face, pulling her in for a soft kiss. “mmm i did. or at least the car’s in the garage ready to be fixed, thanks honey.” he said. “was henry good for you, eat his dinner ?”
