“     hindi   mabiro     ,     ”     korain   wrapped   his   arms   around   her   from   behind     ,     stopping   hyeri     (     @lovesboat     )     from   walking   away   and   going   elsewhere     .     if   there's   one   thing   that   he   would   do     ,     it's   to   make   sure   to   push   on   her   buttons   once   in   a   while     .     he   should   be   upset   that   she's   not   used   to   this   antics   yet     ,     but   he   couldn't   blame   her   either—   korain's   teasing   hasn't   faltered   since   they   were   still   just   friends   and   it   was   probably   worst   that   time   too     .     so   much   worse     .     “     lahat   naman   gusto   mo   ibibigay   ko   sa   'yo     ,     alam   mo   yan     ,     ”     he   playfully   pulls   her   with   him   onto   the   couch     ,     pulling   her   onto   his   lap   with   his   arms   still   wrapped   around   her     .     “     sorry   na   po—   ang   cute   mo   kasi   eh     ,     nanghina   ako     .     ”

korain   snapped   out   of   his   thoughts   when   he   heard   calum's   voice.   he   was   relieved   that   it   was   already   dark,   otherwise   he   would   see   him   flustered   and   he   wasn't   ready   to   deal   with   that   just   yet.   he's   been   done   with   his   tasks   for   his   group   and   went   straight   to   watch   the   soccer   team's   practice   or   catch   a   glimpse   of   calum.   he   wasn't   expecting   for   any   sort   of   interaction,   he   just   wanted   to   see   him.   “   ah,   hindi   naman,   only   when   beau's   around,   ”   he   chuckled,   looking   around   while   stuffing   his   hands   in   his   pockets.   “   i-   uh—   watched   your   practice   to   kill   time,   rush   hour   na   kasi,   so   pinalipas   ko   muna,   ”   he   wasn't   sure   why   he   was   so   nervous,   they've   talked   so   many   times   already.   “   you   did   great,   by   the   way.   ”

“woah!  andito  ka  parin  pala?”  calum  blurted  out,  blinking  in  mild  disbelief  as  he  approached  korain,  towel  slung  over  his  neck.  he  was  used  to  catching  glimpses  of  him  after  hours,  but  never  this  late.  it  was  nearly  7  p.m.,  and  calum  had  already  long  accepted  that  soccer  practice  had  eaten  up  what  remained  of  his  afternoon  and  evening.  it  had  dragged  on  for  far  too  long.  he’d  assumed  everyone  else  had  gone  home  by  now,  korain  included.  “ino-overwork  ka  ata  ng  mga  orgmates  mo?”
