[    INJURIES  SUSTAINED    ]    multiple  fractures  across  the  body

     ››      the  first  fall  she  took  when  the  hunter  threw  her  didn’t  hurt  nearly  as  much  as  falling  from  a  great  height  into  a  hidden  pit  .  that’s  where  she  sustained  most  of  her  injuries  .  dani  was  brought  into  the  hospital  with  multiple  fractures  across  her  body  .  however  ,  her  regenerative  healing  had  kicked  in  during  transport  making  the  situation  a  little  more  complicated  .  as  a  result  ,  doctors  had  to  break  and  reset  all  the  bones  that  had  already  started  healing  in  order  to  make  sure  they  healed  correctly  .  this  was  a  painful  process  that  resulted  in  dani  staying  in  the  hospital  for  two  days  before  being  discharged  .

HAYDEN  SULLIVAN

     ››      the  events  of  that  day  weigh  heavy  on  hayden  .  while  uninjured  ,  she  worked  to  the  best  of  her  ability  to  protect  the  shore  .  given  her  knowledge  in  exercise  science  and  physical  therapy  ,  hayden  has  been  volunteering  at  the  hospital  .  she’s  been  aiding  in  the  physical  rehabilitation  of  those  who’d  suffered  injuries  during  the  attack  .  she  doesn’t  think  it’s  much  work  but  she  feels  like  she  can’t  sit  back  and  do  nothing  while  the  town  is  in  disarray  .  and  no  one  is  trying  to  go  to  the  gym  at  this  time  so  she  for  sure  has  more  than  enough  time  on  her  hands  .

     ››      oh  she’s  angry  .  hera  led  the  council  siege  and  expected  a  fight  .  she  went  in  guns  blazing  (  metaphorically  speaking  ,  of  course  )  .  it  was  a  successful  siege  that  led  to  driving  out  and  overthrowing  the  council  .  does  she  feel  bad  about  the  council  members  that  were  killed  by  the  hunters  ?  not  at  all  ,  no�� .  however  ,  she’s  not  completely  heartless  .  hera  gave  it  a  moment  before  setting  up  shop  at  town  hall  to  overhaul  and  unravel  the  town’s  mess  .  she’s  actively  encouraging  all  residents  of  portum  to  openly  voice  their  concerns  .  especially  given  the  current  state  of  the  town  .

     ››      having  a  building  collapse  on  top  of  them  is  not  their  idea  of  a  good  time  .  despite  using  magic  to  try  and  mitigate  the  falling  building  ,  theo  still  sustained  some  severe  injuries  .  of  those  included  a  head  injury  ,  internal  bleeding  ,  a  punctured  lung  ,  and  a  broken  collarbone  .  however  ,  once  arriving  at  the  hospital  ,  the  witch  floated  in  and  out  of  consciousness  for  about  three  days  as  the  doctors  got  to  work  .  once  fully  healed  ,  she  stayed  in  the  hospital  for  almost  a  week  for  observation  before  being  discharged  .  given  the  severity  of  her  injuries  ,  she’s  been  given  strict  orders  to  rest  and  take  it  easy  .

     ››      it’s  not  the  first  nor  the  last  time  valeria  has  guided  souls  into  the  afterlife  .  but  this  time  felt  different  .  they  try  to  stay  impartial  as  their  role  as  a  reaper  is  to  step  in  once  death  is  inevitable  .  and  more  importantly  ,  they’ve  made  it  a  point  to  stay  out  of  human  affairs  .  however  ,  this  is  a  town  filled  with  supernatural  creatures  and  one  of  the  few  and  only  places  that  was  supposed  to  keep  them  all  safe  .  as  a  result  ,  valeria  has  set  up  an  unofficial  support  group  of  sorts  for  all  portum  residents  at  the  university  .  it’s  not  a  requirement  but  more  of  a  forum  for  residents  to  talk  things  out  .

(  tw:  mentions  of  death  )  hera  leung  was  born  wong  mei  ling  in  the  mid-seventeenth  century  as  the  daughter  of  an  emperor  and  his  favored  concubine  .  she’s  born  a  fiercely  resilient  figure  with  life  defined  by  ambition  ,  loss  and  in  essence  ,  transformation  .  she’s  forced  to  flee  to  hong  kong  with  her  mother  and  grew  up  in  a  world  where  power  was  everything  .  after  suffering  the  devastating  loss  of  her  loved  ones  ,  mei  ling  was  slowly  starting  to  move  on  .  she’d  unknowingly  fallen  in  love  with  a  vampire  who  eventually  transformed  her  while  she  was  on  her  deathbed  .  now  immortalized  as  hera  ,  she’s  forced  to  embrace  this  new  identity  .  she  travels  through  europe  and  ultimately  settles  in  america  where  she  makes  quite  a  name  for  herself  in  the  supernatural  community  .  and  over  centuries  ,  hera’s  experiences  have  hardened  her  .  in  her  pursuit  of  power  of  influence  ,  she’d  garnered  enemies  and  after  barely  surviving  an  ambush  ,  she  finds  herself  in  the  town  of  portum  .
