KaiLara (?) is either
1. So cute (Kaijin/Chalara)
(Kaijin is as dense as a black hole. He doesn't have emotion but very caring towards her and Chalara have had a crush on him for 6 years help)
(and then Kaijin had to push Chalara in to the energy-converted machine, distorting her into a biblically accurate angel creature.)
2. So fucked up (Hakai/Chalara)
(Chalara kept killing him for like 220 times for betraying her although Hakai is not Kaijin. At first his mission is to turn Chalara back into her human form. Time goes on and Hakai became obsessed with her then had some god complex shit, leading to him did numerous experiments on her and even injected her blood into him wtf.)
Overall very nice ship, I love both of them.

A brief summary:
Esche -> cloned himself (the DNA was taken in his 30s) -> Kaijin
Kaijin (after recieved emotions from the Light) -> cloned himself -> Hakai
Hakai (when died) -> [-------] dropped a new one -> new Hakai
Hakai (anmesiac) -> Yanagi -> restored memories -> Hakai
Fun facts!
- In spite of being a clone, unlike Kaijin before [YGGDRASIL] event, Hakai is capable of feeling emotions due to the Light.
- Each time after the current Hakai died, the [-------] (Kaijin turning into THAT) will "gave birth" (?) to a freshly new one and passed the deceased's memory to the newborn.
- The current living Hakai is the 221st one. (Meaning Chalara killed him 220 times already lmao)
Up to now, Daisugi (arc 「C」 protag) has no relation to these guys beside working with Myosotis (Chalara's sister)
