hey guys, just wanted to pop in and post a quick ooc note to address the radio silence. winter is always a bad time for me in terms of both physical and mental health, and it's hitting me extra hard this year. i started going down with a lot of viruses in december, and i haven't really had any break between one illness before getting hit in the face with a new one— the latest being this horrible stomach bug i caught in the middle of january that’s taking forever to go.

needless to say, being this sick without a break is having a really averse effect on my mental state and depression has hit me like a truck and made everything worse, unfortunately.

i have SO many nice things to reply to and i feel bad that i'm taking such a long time to do anything; especially when i still have a whole bunch of incredibly sweet messages for kid's birthday sitting in my inbox. 💔 not to mention all the OTHER character birthdays that i DEFINITELY want to be writing things for in return as well!! (dw i haven’t forgotten anyone kiss kiss, kid’s gonna bother all your birthday babies whether they like it or not.)

i saw all the things people have tagged me in while i've been away and it cheered me up a lot. everyone is so lovely, and i’m so lucky to have such incredible friends.

thank you for being patient with me. i'm not making this into a formal hiatus or anything, i'll still be around liking stuff and sending stuff in when i can, i just thought i should post an update.

to briefly explain what happened, someone close to me got some unexpected bad news and i ended up going on an unplanned hiatus while we sorted everything out. time went by really fast, and i realized i hadn't explained my disappearance to you all. nothing to do with my health this time, i just needed to focus on real life stuff for a little bit.

me and elle (@snowdrcp) had already planned to spend the next few months together starting in May, so i'm flying to her country for two months. we're going to be really busy together, so i won't be able to get back to writing until after i'm home in July - however I don't know how active I'll be over the summer because she's coming home with me so we might be busy doing things together then also.

but! i'm not going to be gone forever, i'm coming back as soon as things are less busy, you can expect to see me again soon. my muses haven't gone anywhere and i still have full motivation to write, nobody is being dropped, everything will be picked up like normal as soon as my trip is done.

i think it's extremely funny if we temporarily pretend Kid has gone to jail and that's why he suddenly went missing LOL so i'm just going to act like he's been arrested and is currently in prison while i'm out having a great time with elle. i've put him in the baby playpen. the fisher price play pen.

love you all so much, can't wait to write with everyone when i'm back. i'm still available on discord, but my replies might be a bit slow just because i'm on an extended vacation. let me know if you want to add me. sorry for not explaining where i was sooner, time got away from me a bit.

in all seriousness, I pushed myself too hard and got big chronic illness symptoms as a result, and I've been too sick to get out of bed much these past few days, and completely unable to write because of the brain fog and fatigue symptoms. I've been sending people memes instead because seeing everyone's replies has been cheering me up, but I hope none of you mind that my responses are quite delayed at the moment.

i have some really amazing stuff in my inbox that i can't wait to get started on as soon as my head feels clear and my nausea isn't distracting me so much.
