translating MTMTE #40 Ratchet's note for M

Translation: “Dear M-I think someone needs a friend-and you could do worse than ten. He’s your number 1 fan. He and I have a lot in common, actually. We’re good with our hands but not with our words- and that can be fatal. Of course, we’re not the only ones. This ship is a refuge for the emotionally inarticulate. Oh, people talk. People talk all the time. They just don’t say very much. They’re too worried about people knowing how they feel. Too worried about being found out. For better or worse, we’re judged by what we do and not what we say. And if it takes us a while to get around to doing something important, well…better late than never.”

转文字：“亲爱的“M”，我想有人需要找个朋友，而对你来说10也蛮不错——他可是你的头号粉丝。事实上，我和他倒是有不少相似之处。我们手巧而嘴拙——这可能是要命的。当然，也不只是我们如此。这条船像是一个避难所，不善于表情达意的人都在此聚集。啊，人们总是在讲话，说个不停，但他们并不敢表达什么；他们太担心别人会发现自己的情绪，太担心被看穿。无论是福是祸，我们所受的评判总归还是基于我们的行为而非言��。如果我多拖了点时间才下决心去着手做一些重要的事情，嗯，迟到总好过缺席嘛。”

I really like this note, it's rather wholesome and imo it explains part of the central appeal of mtmte. This ship is a refuge for the emotionally inarticulate, thankfully some of them learned to find consolation in each other.
