Oh, always.  Unless it’s a rude comment, those usually just get deleted.  But for the most part yes, I always respond to comments

6. What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

None of my fics have an “angsty” ending.  I’m a writer who writes “angst with a happy ending”.  The one that got really fucking close was Soul Bound but even that one had a happy ending.  I respect writers who can write hella angsty endings but could never be me

7. Do you write crossovers?

I’ve done a few crossovers, mainly between S.C.I. and Killer and Healer because Zhan Yao and Bai Yutong are very similar to Chen Yuzhi and Jiang Yuelou so it’s always fun to work with their dynamics

8. Have you ever received hate on a fic?

No, thankfully

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

No.  I always say I want to try but honestly, just thought of writing smut makes me uncomfortable.  I respect writers who can but again, could never be me

10. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Someone stole my “The Untamed Moments” and was writing all of my fics in Spanish over on Wattpad like they wrote the damn thing.  Thankfully a reader told me so I took that shit down but yes...it’s happened before.  Thankfully hasn’t happened recently but everyone knows what will happen if they touch my fics, so they know better

11. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

I did, when I was younger over on AsianFanFics.  But we both quickly scrapped the fic and I’ve never co-written a fic since.  Now I do brainstorm fic ideas with a few friends here on tumblr (

Considering that I’ve written 137 and counting fics for them...it’s safe to say they’re my faves

I don’t have a favorite...because I love all my fics.  I go back and read them all the time.  How can I pick?

What is Criminologist Himura and Mystery Writer Arisugawa about? 1) I'm there for whump and 2) Takumi Saito is in it and he was in The Prince of Tennis live-action musicals and that is something I refuse to ever let any of the actors let die (and he's hot but that's not the main point here)

Okayokayokayokay ::takes deep breath::

This is Himura:

He’s tall, hot, and has hair you could use for emergency squirrel housing.

He works as a criminology professor, but on the side helps the police solve murders. And boy, is he wonderfully dark, oh god i love it. Crime scenes and the idea of murder enthrals him, and he has frequent nightmares about stabbing someone to death:

He seems equal parts mortified and thrilled by his desire to kill, and tends to zone out / hallucinate at crime scenes while imagining the murder. Quelle normale. Boy’s got problems.

SO, enter Arisu.

Arisu is a mystery crime novelist, and has been friends with Himura since college. They obviously mean a massive amount to each other, and it becomes clear that Arisu considers himself the only one keeping Himura from the brink of turning into a gleeful serial killer. His nightmares involve him not getting to Himura before he turns to a-murderin’:

God i love this kind of relationship, with Arisu always keeping watch over Himura and being careful to snap him out of it when his dark thoughts threaten to overtake:

Not only does he not want Himura to kill anyone, he also doesn’t want the police swarming around the crime scenes to see Himura grinning like a loon at the idea of murder. Understandable really.

Arisu is a sweet heart, a goofy softy, and he can get upset at the crime scenes and desperately angry with the murderers:

It carries over into his desperation to keep Himura from becoming one of them i think.

Then we’ve got the big bad:

She’s wonderfully terrifying this lady - all kinds of smooth, evil and in control, and after meeting Himura she’s desperate to set his murderous side free. Also apparently desperate to smell him, which, you know. Weird.

There are some pretty cool side characters (including their housekeeper who seems like family, and an awesome policeman who really sees Himura’s value), but honestly who gives a crap about those with these two amazing blokes out there being all kinds of goofy and angsty and relying heavily on each other? NOT ME.

There are some fun moments inbetween the angst, and ALSO THERE’S A CAT can it get any better no it can’t thank you the end.

Finally wrote fic for this fandom it's a miracle. First fic of the new year booyah!

Summary:

Arisugawa has been signing Himura's copies of his novels for a long time. Finally, he decides it's time to admit to his feelings; and is predictably hopeless at it. Fortunately, Himura is, after all, a deductive genius.
