just can’t get this idea of jack not being able to take a compliment out of my head. like yes he’s confident and cocky in a “you know who did it better” kind of way. . .

and we’ve also kind of established how much he likes getting positive reinforcement and praised and getting told he’s making you feel good, happy, etc, etc, etc.

but the idea of actually giving him compliments? that man is blushing, he’s flustered, he’s giggling, he doesn’t know how to act. all he can do is casually brush you off and be like “yeah I guess”

“you played so good tonight baby. the best player out there, hands down,” you praise your boyfriend and he immediately gets a shy little smile on his face.

“I had a pretty good game. don’t know if I was the best player out there though, but it wasn’t bad,” jack says casually, shrugging and not meeting your eye as you brush your fingers through his messy hair.

“you were great. and you’re getting better every game somehow. cause you’re such a hard worker. and a great leader. and so kind, and so smart, and so pretty, of course. truly the whole package. I’m a lucky girl” you continue, pressing a chaste kiss to his warm cheek

“I’m the lucky one baby,” he mutters softly, kissing your lips chastely before burying his red face in your neck.

I just think barzy is such a handsy bf. like he does not give one fuck about who’s seeing you being affectionate in public. if he wants to kiss you til your breathless in the middle of the sidewalk when you guys decided to do some afternoon shopping. he will.

if he thinks your ass looks good in your jeans and he wants to put his hand in your back pocket , and give it a squeeze while pulling your body into his. he will.

if he wants to pull you onto his lap when you guys are out with the team or some friends , simply because he feels you’re too far away and he wants to be closer? he will.

if he wants to press hot wet kisses to the side of your throat just to hear that little noise escape the back of your throat when he does. he’s going to do it.

he’s gonna hold your hand while you’re walking side by side. he’s gonna put his hand on your thigh while you’re driving somewhere or sitting next to him. he’s gonna let his hands land on your hips and let them roam a little too low when you’re standing next to him somewhere.

he’s utterly obsessed with you and he does not care who knows about it.
