May 11th, 2001 Moon Child released their second album: ''Because I Love You''

Moon Child (문차일드), later known as M.C the Max (엠씨 더 맥스 ) is a rock group based in Seoul. They made their debut in 2000 as a four member group, consisting of Lee Soo (이수), J. Yoon (제이 윤), Jeon Min-hyuk (전민혁) and Heo Jung-min (허정민). Their first album consisted mostly of techno rock and some ballads, while ''Because I Love You'' was mainly ballads with a rock sound. The group originally disbanded in 2001 after the release of their second album, because of unsuccessful activities. They later regrouped in 2002 with the same members except for Jung-min and changed their name to M.C the Max.

April 18th, 2007 M.C the MAX released their fifth album: The Max, Returns

M.C the Max (엠씨 더 맥스), which is short for Moon Child The Maximum, is a rock bad that debuted in 2000 under the name Moon Child. Moon Child originally consisted of Lee Soo (이수), Heo Jung-min (허정민), J. Yoon (제이 윤) and Jeon Min-hyuk (전민혁), but in 2001 Jung-min left the group and the band reformed as M.C the Max. By 2006 the band had released multiple successful albums, but their contracts with Paramount Ent. expired and Paramount Ent. wanted to debut ''M.C the Max 2'' with only Lee Soo as a solo singer, of which Lee Soo rejected and he and the rest of the band left and singed under a different agency. This lead to a lawsuit for the right of the name ''M.C the Max'' because Paramount Ent. stated that they possessed the rights for the name, but in the end M.C the Max won the court case and claimed ownership over all their full-length albums released up until now.
