“And this next message comes from a listener who says they’ve been a fan for a long time, they say” Seunghan’s smooth voice reads, laced with a quiet warmth. That’s me, you think, heart racing. “Honestly, Lately things have been tough, but listening to your voice makes everything feel a little lighter. Thank you for being a person I can always turn to, even through a radio.”

Silence fills the room for a brief moment. Then, Seunghan exhales softly, as if preparing his words.

“Wow” he murmurs. “I don’t know if you’re listening right now, but…thank you. Really. Sometimes, as an idol, I wonder if I’m doing enough for the people who support me. But messages like this remind me that even something as simple as my voice can mean something to someone. And that means a lot to me, too.”

Your breath catches. He read it. He actually read it.

Seunghan chuckles, a little sheepish. “I wish I could say something more meaningful, but…please just take care of yourself, okay? I’ll keep singing, talking, whatever you need. So keep listening.”

A quiet, fond smile pulls at your lips. — And from that night on, you do.

Weeks pass, and one afternoon, you’re at a fansign — your first time seeing him in person. When it’s finally your turn, you barely manage to greet him before he looks at you, something different in his expression.

“Wait,” Seunghan says slowly, tapping his marker against the album pages. “Your name… are you the midnight radio listener?”

“hong seunghan, what the fuck” it's the first thing that came out off your mouth. he blinks a couple of times, adapting his eyes to the light of the hallway, and then they meet yours.

“babe? what's wrong? something happened?” he frowned, staring at your face with concern. “why are you crying? what's wrong, baby?” his face is full of worry when he notices your red and teary eyes. you didn't notice when you started crying. seunghan's arms wrap around you, pulling you into a hug, and immediately you hug him back, clinging to him, feeling a weight went off of your shoulders and your body finally relaxing. you needed this. you needed to know that he was fine.

“i thought something happened to you! i was worried, seung” your voice came out sheakly, still sobbing with your face buried on his chest. “you didn't answer. nobody knew where you were at, and your car was not outside, and...” his palm went up and down through you back, trying to confort you.

“i'm so sorry, my love” the gulty in his voice was noticed by you. “come, let's go inside so we can talk, hm?” you nood and both of you close the door behind, and once you were sitting on his sofa, he stroked your face, coming closer. “so.. yesterday, when i was at this job meeting, i felt sick, and i didn't tell you because i didn't want to worry you. i came back home in a taxy because the headache was bothering me so much, and i thought that it would be dangerous to come back like that. and when i finally arrived, i took a pill and went to sleep. i fell asleep, and i didn't hear anything after that. i'm so sorry, really” his eyes reflect how guilty he felt. and of course, you can't be mad at him. now you were relieved that he was okay, just sleeping.

“you're fine. it doesn't matter, hanie.. are you feeling better?” you put one of your hands on his cheek, stroking it. his skin doesn't feel hot.

“yes, love. and now that you are here, i'm feeling even better” he chuckled, closing his eyes. he's just so cute. you couldn't stand that, so you came closer to him, kissing his lips.

• The Situation

As I'm sure you're all aware, Seunghan was recently "added back" to Riize, only for antis to protest and SM to give into the bullying and remove him again TWO DAYS LATER.

- there is quite a lot of info out there proving they never really intended to bring him back but ultimately, this does not change what's happened so I'm not dwelling on it -

• Why Should I Care?

This sets a terrifying precedent. If knetz/bullies feel like doing this sort of thing will get them the results they want, then this is only the beginning. Already, antis that want Suga removed from BTS are planning the same thing. It didn't stop at Riize, and it won't stop at Suga. They will start doing this constantly.

• What Can I Do?

There are a few simple things that you can do to help. And your help DOES MATTER.

1. Unfollow all of Riize's social media. DNI with their social media posts (not even to spread the tags or call them out - simply DNI)

2. Do not purchase anything related to Riize. You're welcome to make that SM in general, but especially Riize.

3. Do not vote for Riize for awards and music shows. Absolutely no support.

4. Do not stream Riize on any music platform.

5. Post these tags on your social media (especially twitter):

wearing his clothes. trust me on this one. and look it’s not even necessarily the fact that his clothes would like 99% be Huge on you, making you look like you’re literally drowning in them. (if you’re shorter than him, that is) he’s just a fan of how it emphasizes that you’re his. especially!! when you’re in public or around other people and you borrow, say, like his hoodie, jacket or something. might j end up pulling you away with him somewhere more private hhh.

complimenting him. look okay, he obviously does know he’s attractive – what with, you know, people literally falling all over themselves for him – but there’s something about you in particular being vocal about how he looks. particularly when you go into specifics, telling him how good his hair looks styled a certain way, how you really like a certain color on him and he’s a goner. 11/10 never changing his hair/taking that fit off.

wearing lip gloss/lip balm. he’s for sure obsessed with kissing you, for one. it’s really interesting to him how the different colors look on you or how you use different flavored lip balms. makes it a game almost, to kiss you and guess the flavor of whatever lip product you’ve chosen to wear on a particular occasion. has sm experience kissing u that atp he rarely ever gets any wrong smh.

One thing that for sure gets him is you being a good listener and just being able to maintain good eye contact w him. he'd genuinely find your gaze on his to die for... babygirl would like to try and match your energy but always, without fail, end up not being able to match your loving stare and end up blushing and looking away. ><

giving him gifts,, i feel he’s the type to get flustered by most of the things you do but is just good at acting like he’s not. gifts though, specifically handmade ones — like cutesy cards, crocheted items, baked goods, etc. are a different topic. because like yeah he's used to expensive presents but to him, getting something handmade is far more .. intimate and shows how deeply you care. will go absolutely red even at small little sticky notes with messages on them fr.

due to what is going on with riize, i'm going to be taking a break from posting SM groups (riize and all nct units).

it is so upsetting and i can't believe that SM let it go this far. putting him on hiatus for 10 months is not at all what they should have done if they wanted to help riize be successful and protect them. instead of stopping people from sending seunghan (and all the members) threats and spreading rumors, they're trying to accommodate to all the fans feelings.

it's being said now that there are rumors being spread about other members even now after the last announcement about seunghan's departure.

i've listed some things to help spread the word under the line. please do ur best to boycott ‼️
