the fall of the house usher ft. 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𓂃 *  FRIEND. You must leave this house. USHER. How can I? These walls are my skin. This room is my heart. Besides, I have a sister.

andromeda loves to tie bows in her hair, it’s been pretty much incorporated in her morning routine since she’d been a child. she would also sew her own ribbons and gift them to her sisters ( whether they wore it or not ) and try to make matching sets ( same design but other colours etc. ). she’s still wearing those bows ( although some of them might not look the best, being touched and faded with time ) as it somehow reminds her of the time she spent with her sisters and she sees those bows like an invisible tie to her sisters ( and perhaps hoping that they’d wear them sometimes ) 

she has a very dry sense of humour ( she claims it’s just british humour ) and most of the time people don’t get it to begin with. she’ll say out of pocket things with the driest tone and expect people to laugh about the worst joke ever. 

her interest in writing sparked with the discovery of coming across a muggle novel she’d found solely by accident, somewhere in the gryffindor common room ( she was asked to ‘spy’ on them. she did not. ). this novel was jane austen’s pride and prejudice and andromeda fell in love with everything about it. so much that she was inspired to write her own novel.

she is the girl who is kicking her feet and giggling when reading a romantic story. she is unaware about it. 

her first crush was in fact mr darcy, but quite unaware of her own conscience it was never a crush to begin with. truth to be told, she just mistook being able to relate to a character as having a crush . so technically, she did have a crush on herself …

she scribbled her own novel ( which could only be described as a bad copy of pride and prejudice ) in her diary and would carry it around all the time. once she lost it, and one of her fellow students found it, reading the cheesiest lines aloud and making fun of it. as they asked for the ‘culprit’ and writer of this literary atrocity, andromeda simply admitted it was her as she didn’t really care ( back then she possessed enough confidence bordering on arrogance to be honest ). however, no one believed it was her , thinking it was simply another one of her jokes no one really understood, as andromeda simply had that reputation of being that regal and unapproachable person and so the mystery still has remained unsolved. 

the next time she’d attempt to write another novel, she was much more serious about it and even wanted to get it published. this time it was criticized for being way too dry for a romance novel and andromeda finally gave up on her little dream of being an author, finding it to be more fitting to write for a newspaper as her dry tone was apparently more appreciated for that. 

when she left her home, andromeda couldn’t bear the pain of abandoning her siblings. sometimes, she’d try to go back home but whenever she’d spot a familiar face, she’d just turn around. one time, she found herself at the ministry of magic, asking for an obliviator and wanting to erase her memories so it’d be easier. however, as she clenched the photograph of her sisters in her pocket, she’d taken with her, she knew that she didn’t want to forget them and so she just turned around with no explanation. 

not visible at first glance, but obvious when one spends more time with her, andromeda is in fact very clumsy. sometimes, she’s simply too impatient and likes to get things done quickly, hence she rushes things and somehow finds herself in awkward situations. 

she’d probably be a horse girl. no explanation. just facts.
