Have you ever considered that Khura’in might still be dangerous and that’s why you haven’t heard anything? Especially considering your profession now I imagine it’d be rather risky going back. Besides in regards to your sibling he could be in danger and just doesn’t want you to get dragged down with him 🤷‍♀️

He fiddled with his bandages, staring down at the table in front of him, just past Vaz. At the idea of hiding out, the fidgeting intensified, his lip idly bit.

"A week... Alright. I... I have my phone with me, so I could maybe contact some friends, see if they're willing to keep me, uh. out of sight. I'm sure they'd understand..."

They might. They probably would. Enough weird things had happened, why would getting framed for this be any different?

At the idea of getting a drink, Apollo paused, before shaking his head. "I'd rather not spend anything right now. I mean, I don't know how long I'll be stuck like this, so, you know."

He was also, admittedly, too nervous to stomach much at the moment.

"Do you... know the people here, or something?"

"..Yeah. and.. I can change my height if needed. This size is most efficient and I can maintain it indefinitely, unlike larger sizes. But I don't need to be big to cook."

"There's also plenty of stuff i can cook at my size anyway. Minus.. anything that requires toasters. I tend to accidentally break them somehow."

[It leaned back before hopping laggily onto the floor, landing in silence.]

"And I refuse to fry things. Grease makes me feel icky, even if it just goes right through me."

"As for, uh, piracy... if my profession demands it, I'll be against it. But as a person, I don't really mind. Hell, I think I downloaded some music off the internet as a kid. It wasn't like I had any money to buy it legitimately, anyways."

I admire your confidence, considering everything you’ve been through it is genuinely impressive but you say you are running out of people who you can rely on…what about Mr wright, Athena and trucy? They all seem to really care about you and I don’t think they would take it well if something bad happened to you

All I’m saying is should you make the decision to return, be careful and maybe plan ahead just to be safe

"Well, I did say I was running out, not that I'd completely lost everyone. Though I do have to say, I consider them all friends, yeah, but... they're also my coworkers. There's a lot I don't feel comfortable talking to them about, that I was fine telling my... my only other friend... especially, you know, because I just accused one of murder. I, uh, guess Trucy's more of a friend than a coworker, but I don't want to start making a teenager shoulder all of my issues."
