" i know of a shop in the french quarter . it's owned by my friend bonnie . it's called enchanted emporium . i'm confident she can assist you with what you need , " he offered more information . stefan had encountered various situations , but none quite like this . the vampire hesitated to admit that this seemed like it was only the tip of the iceberg and sensed that there was more to come . stefan's thoughts were not helpful in the slightest , so he pondered his next words carefully . " no , i can't say i have , but i would suggest that now is the time to stay close to friends and family , " he cautioned .

Cami listened intently, she could sense there was something the man wasn't quite telling her but she wasn't sure if she was ready to know what is was. "A flower? That's the suggestion?" she asked waving it off believing he was having a laugh. "Honestly, whatever avoids me being in a body bag I will take." she shrugged "I've been here my whole life and I've never seen something like this...have you?"

" i didn't mean to startle you . " he said , taking a breath before scanning the area for his brother . " how are you doing , grayson . . "is my damon or elena here ? " " he wondered about his nephew . " is damon ? " he asked , hoping his brother might have some answers about what was going on .

The face so many had gone missing in one go did have people very concerned understandably. He was grateful his family wasn't affected but those who e knew did ,and that almost felt like he was involved in it. He spent the morning scrolling through various posts regarding the missing people and tried to piece anything together that could link them all and the main thing was scribbled in capitals-SUPERNATURAL. of course that would be the link. But it didn't really suggest anything else as the supernatural world was so big. When another entered the room he jumped a little lost in his thoughts. "Shit sorry... the  ever-brooding  martyr.  how  charmingly  predictable.  tobias  parker's  lips  curled  into  a  mocking  smile  as  he  observed  the  troubled  vampire  from  the  shadows.  "you  know,  stefan,"  tobias  drawled,  his  voice  laced  with  a  taunting  edge,  "i  couldn't  help  but  notice  your  brooding  demeanor  has  taken  on  an  almost…  poetic  quality.  it's  almost  endearing,  watching  you  struggle  with  the  absence  of  your  precious  loved  ones.  i  wonder  who  you  miss  more  your  wife  or  your  first  love.  but,  of  course,  you  must  know  the  truth  by  now.  if  only  you  were  as  adept  at  finding  answers  as  you  are  at  wallowing  in  despair.  but  there's  no  need  to  fret  too  much.  after  all,  these  dark  clouds  hanging  over  your  head  might  just  be  hiding  the  most  delightful  secrets."

" i will always worry about you , blossom , " he replied , his concern evident . after all , she was his daughter . " do you want to talk about the nightmares ? " he asked , his attention fully on his daughter's well-being .

a search party could be helpful, but in the pit of her stomach, she knew that wasn't something that could help. a sixth sense of sorts she guessed. these people had vanished without a trace and there was a small chance that they would be back. "it could work..both those options." eyes looking up from her sketchpad to look at the other for a moment, knowing she would have to. "i'm fine.. i'm okay.. just the usual.." a small shrug of her shoulders. "nightmares the same so you have nothing to worry about."

" yeah , " he exhaled , a hopeful note in his voice . " i actually wouldn't have been here if it wasn't for her . . so , yeah , i can check to see if she can help us on this . " stefan recalled that the anchor served as a gateway to the other side , barring any supernatural beings from crossing over to peace . as he understood it , the seer could only communicate what she saw from her visions , which were not meant for her own interpretation but rather as guidance for her clients to decipher . " you think so ? " he asked , a hint of uncertainty in his voice as davina brought up the cemetery . " yeah , i'll call her now . "

Davina wasn't thrilled with marching to the ancestors or anyone else for that matter. It had been a long time since she did any sort of sacred ground magic often looking to using enchanted objects or strengthening her power from within. "I've met Bonnie before, do you think she will help us? I don't know if I like the idea of using another witch as an anchor but maybe she has another clue." Davina spoke. Ever since her Coven tried to do the harvest rituals, as well as her own sacrifices, Davina promised to never do the same to another witch. She listened intently as Stefan told her what Alisha said, never understanding why she couldn't simply tell them what to do. "Music never dies...New Orleans....spirits rise...the cemetery?" she questioned looking up at Stefan. "It has to be...can Bonnie meet us over there?"

" i don't know . . maybe it's because if we don't more will be lost , " he explained something that he thought was already self explanatory .

Theo rolled his eyes at the male across from him, who snapped, "And I should care why?" Annoyance was etched on his face, arms crossed tightly as if their conversation was an unwelcome interruption. Frustration bubbled within Theo; he couldn’t understand why the male was so quick to dismiss him. Perhaps he had his reasons—a past hurt or just a bad day—but each attempt to connect only met with hostility, leaving Theo torn between irritation and a desire to break through the male’s defences.

stefan exhaled a weary sigh , the weight of the situation pressing down on him . " josie and alaric have been taken , " he revealed with a heavy heart , the truth spilling forth to reagan who was no longer just his kid , she was an young adult who deserved the truth . " and i can't seem to reach your mother , " he confused , his voice a mixture of concern and determination . it was a moment of stark honesty , a father sharing the grim reality with his grown daughter , hoping to shield them from worry yet involving them in the crisis at hand .

The girl sighed softly as she listened to her father speak, understanding his concern. She knew he would be worried, but also realized the importance of heeding his advice when trouble loomed, if it ever did. "Fine, I promise, okay," she muttered, a hint of annoyance in her tone. As she looked up at him, she inquired, "Do you think something bad is going to happen?" raising an eyebrow in curiosity.

" some , have decided to organize a search party , while others are putting up missing signs , and i'm working with davina to see if we can find some answer and maybe find josie and the others , " he paused , feeling as though this burden was too much for his daughter to bear . " but despite all of that , i need to know how you're coping with all of this ? " he needed to find the missing , but it was wqually important to check in with his family to see how they were managing .

her eyes hadn't moved off of her sketch book all morning, scribles and lines littered the pages and nothing looked like it made any sense. her eyes looking up for a brief moment as she heard her fathers words. "everyone does." she spoke, gaze turning back to her sketchbook. "people don't vanish without a trace."

stefan believe it was anything but a good idea , yet he knew he couldn't simply confine reagan to a tower for safety . " okay . " he sighed , finally yielding to his daughter's decision . " but promise me , at the first sign of trouble , you'll come straight home . okay ? " he said , his voice a mixture of concern and resignation .

Reagan Salvatore found herself caught between her father's concerns and her hidden struggles with failing grades. Despite Stefan's worries about her academic performance and safety amidst the recent abductions, Reagan chose to keep her challenges a secret, reassuring him about staying on campus. "I'll be fine," she said with a reassuring smile, masking the turmoil within. "I'd rather stay on campus," she added, trying to ease her father's fears while concealing her own inner turmoil. " he didn't understand it but the more information he gave davina the better chance he what it all meant but the vampire believed that the more information he provided to davina , the better their chance of locating josie . " ". . she said , in the city where music never dies , seek the place where spirits rise . amidst the tombs , where whispers play , find the clue to guide your way . . maybe if we figure this out . . perhaps we'll be one step closer to finding them . "

Davina listened to Stefan's musings, egar to know everything he had to say which might help them in their search for the missing. "The ancestors had mentioned it before, I was close to it once but they never let me completely cross over." Davina spoke her unwanted memories crossing her mind. "A witch was your anchor?" she asked curious to know another witch had held so much power once before. "Perhaps the answers lie here? New Orleans has always used ancestral magic. Maybe if I could find a way to channel them again they would know more about the anchor." Davina wasn't sure it would work, however she had to try.

stefan chose to overlook her sarcasm , he knew her all too well to see through the crack that it was just her worrying , he assumed she was just as concerned about what was going on , as he was . " i don't have all the answers , rebekah , " he admitted , his voice low , yet he was determined to do everything within his power to find them . a sigh escaped him. acknowledging that they were both in the same predicament . when she mentioned seeking help from her brothers , he nodded in agreement . " and i'll speak with me friend bonnie , " he added . seeing it as a beginning . it seemed like a start , but if this was all they had , there was still a long way to go . " i'm sorry . " he said softly . " i heard that marcel was one of those taken . " he finally revealed .

Rebekah rolled her eyes, a touch of exasperation lacing her voice. "And how, pray tell, would you suggest we begin this grand endeavor?" she drawled, her usual flair for sarcasm masking the flicker of concern beneath. It wasn’t that she disagreed; quite the contrary. The issue lay in the sheer impossibility of it all—where did one even start? She paused, a quiet contemplation softening her sharp edges. "I suppose I’ll pay a visit to my brothers. They always seem to have their fingers on the pulse of whatever madness is brewing."

despite stefan's deep desire to uncover the truth , he was careful not to overwhelm his daughter. " i don't suppose i will . " he replied , a hint of defeat in his voice . " i know bonnie is working on something , but in the meantime , perhaps you shouldn't stay at ccampus . " with the recent abductions ,, stefan couldn't bear the thought of reagan being the next vicim .

"well you won't find answers here" she replied with a shrug of the shoulders.

the vampire's mind wondered before he recalled the memories of the other side , a dimension that once existed parallel to their own . it was a time and place that seemed eerily similar to their current predicament . if a group of people had been taken , the burning question was their whereabouts . if it was indeed a place , then hope remained ; however , the grim possibility that the taken were deceased loomed large . " in mystic falls , there once was a realm known as the other side . it was a place that abode for supernatural beings he had passed away , " he explained , the recollection heavy in his voice . " after my death , i returned when my friend bonnie became the anchor to that world . " he pondered aloud . " perhaps we need to create a new anchor of some sorts . yet , the question remains — where to ? " while stefan was uncertain if his words offered any solace , he clung to the hope that they might spark a solution .

"You grew up in Mystic Falls right?" Davina asked curious about the towns history. "I know you have been around for a while, have you ever seen something like this?" hoping any history on these two places would result in answers. "Maybe it's not something from New Orleans, surely Klaus or Elijah would have seen it before.

" don't worry about it , " he said , reassuringly . i wasn't her fault that chaos had unfolded , and naturally , she wanted her family to be safe . regardless , stefan was determined to focus on the task at hand : locating josie and alaric . " is there anything i can do to help ? " stefan asked, feeling somewhat helpless . he had already scoured the city , but his search had been fruitless .

"Shit, I'm sorry." Davina spoke feeling bad about being insensitive to those who lost more than she did. "Which is even worse, if there was a reason at least we could narrow it down." she remarked as she continued to comb through her grimore. "Something like this, it's dark. Whoever is doing it knows exactly how to hide from us." Davina hadn't seen anything this dangerous in years. Even when she was locked away with the ancestors. "I'm hoping there is something in Esther Mikaelson's books that can lead us the right way."
