     It was between him and a few other volunteers, and L was so glad he got chosen for this experiment. Said experiment was intriguing too, trying to make a lifeform entirely out of ink, but it made sense. The underground could only hold so many living creatures, after all. Having something that was of use and didn’t use up all those resources would be great! While he didn’t understand anything more complicated than that, it made sense in his head.

     Of course, that meant L didn’t really know what he was getting into when he accepted this experiment. While that sounded like a bad idea, he was promised a much better job at the expense of some DNA and participation, and that was great!

     L decided to arrive at the dome early, even if he couldn’t get inside right away. He was waiting right outside the door, leaning on a wall and looking around for literally anyone. This was a pretty important building, even being locked from the outside, so he didn’t expect anyone that didn’t work there to come through.
