9.  a  kiss  accompanying  your  muse  injuring  mine. (persephone -> hades)

they’d been fighting since he first brought her down, and she’s slowly realizing her only chance of escape is his promise. spring and summer, it’s all she’ll have. her voice raises, she steps closer too close and glares into him. “i refuse to stay here, queen or not you cannot keep me captive!”

his hands reach out, gently grasp her fists, “you already made the deal, you cannot take back your word. you have to stay.” something in his eyes is pleading, and she wonders how long he’s gone without genuine human companionship.

she twists her hands from his grasp, then drive them into his stomach, just as he reaches around her waist and pulls her closer. his eyes flash to gold, the anger raising in them. their hands don’t move.

his eyes take a moment, but they settle back to golden-brown, and something stirs in her gut. a feeling of safety, now that he’s back in control.

she shifts forward, just enough to kiss him gently. she doesn’t know why, it just feels right.

her fists dig in again, grasping at his shirt, his arms pull her closer, she kisses him again, mouth opening against him. his breath is hot against hers. oh fuck. maybe she’s just desperate for companionship, too, but his kiss sends lightning jolting through her, down her spine and through her hands, completing the circuit.

elise frowned at her sister’s response, quickly aware that no, it wasn’t fine. of course it wasn’t fine when they were both tormented by nightmares. awake or asleep, they couldn’t escape. elise watches her sister in the dark of their room, the way she pulls into herself and stares into nothingness. she always did this, slipped into a void to keep from feeling too much, to keep herself from panicking. god forbid her sister be unable to help her lest she fall victim to her own memories.

elise slips out of her bed and quickly into pacifica’s, nuzzling into her sister’s side and resting her head on her shoulder. “you know we always sleep better side by side. it’s the only time we’ve ever seemed to sleep well.”

she holds her hand up, her pinky being the only finger sticking out. “i won’t leave you till morning. promise.”

10. / ( inspiration for your muse ) originally paz was mostly inspired by well-known mean girl stereotypes like regina george, blair waldorf, and cher from clueless. the intimidating, scary, beautiful girls who had seemingly perfect lives. she’s been developed far past this in my years of writing her and i’m so thankful to my friends who have helped with this. to regain inspo or motivation to write for her i try to go to any playlists i have for her or just slip back into her broken kind of headspace.

11. / ( story behind url ) originally I had two blogs for her before this. princess-pacifica and priincess-pacifica. theyr’re both archived now. i decided I was ready to do a total blog shift and i wanted something new to go with it. i has a few ideas and my friends and i all really liked the sound of fearsbells. if you’ve seen northwest mansion mystery (which hopefully you have!!!) then you’d know why pacifica is fearful of bells. plus it kinda matches some of the name aesthetics i’ve seen around the rpc lately.
