No one ever talks about how unnecessarily gory the High School arc scenes are. We get the point. That kid's dead. And yet they put almost no effort for the alcohol poisoning stuff? That could've been (rightfully) horrific to witness but no, it mostly happened off-screen.

Thinking about the cliffscene leak that got spread around a few weeks before it officially aired. Nobody trusted it because how could The Authors just kill off a major character like that? And the worst part is that the leak made it look like Hels did it. Imagine if that’s how it actually went down, oh my God. I bet you’d still see people loving him and saying he did nothing wrong, though.

Insane that people keep forgetting that True is a character. “Heres all the fishermen in my style!” And then True is nowhere to be seen. Like, hmm, I wonder why you forgot about her?

I’ve been trying to distance myself from the Coral Tumblr community but honestly, Twitter is not any better. There’s been a harassment campaign against The Authors lately and I can’t believe people are willing to make death threats over this. If I find out you’re taking any part in it, on Twitter or otherwise, it’s an insta block and report. Disgusting behaviour, honestly. The Coral fandom is being poisoned by all the harassment.

Has anybody else read that one fanfic where Hels and E.X. get trapped under the boat? That was so heartbreaking and I need to share the pain. Ouch, man.

Just saw a headcanon post that said Hels would be "lovegoric." Does anyone take these characters seriously? This is almost starting to piss me off.

Can we stop pretending like E.X. is an extremely cleverly written character. Look I love the authors as much as the next guy but E.X. was a fault. Their relationship with Hels is perfectly fine but oh my god, they are forgiven way too easily.

I don't care that this is a crackship or whatever but finding this funny is seriously gross. People endlessly yap about all the wrongs Grim did but also laugh at it and then get mad when you seriously like or even ship him? :/ Not to mention this is borderline proship. But of course, people just love their toxic yaoi.

Okay, I should really go to bed, but I had one more thought.

People complain so often about Bob being underutilized in the story. Leave it to the Coral fandom to hate on a kid, checks notes... dying, being a driving force for one of the main characters, and serving his purpose well for what he is.

Bob is not a main character. I know there's other non-main characters that have more developed personalities and storylines, but none of them are Bob's age. Bob is dead early early in the story, it's basically the first major event. Of course he doesn't have that much screentime or much personality, he was a young child, younger than Grim! He's literally the youngest sibling.

Also, I think the people saying he has no personality are flat out wrong. Sure, we don't see much of it ourselves, but we hear plenty about him from Grim himself. We know he was a very messy kid, tried to bring home bugs all the time, ate basically any flower he happened upon. That's not much but it does paint some kind of picture. Bob may not be a full fledged character but he wasn't meant to be as complex as Grim or Hels.

I don't think enough people talk about the reason Grim acts like he does over the course of the story. It's really easy to point at him and say he's a terrible person but I think you're missing the point the authors were trying to make if you do that. I also think people baby Hels way too much, lmao. He's not your uwu perfect victim and I hate when I see depict him breaking down and melting into a puddle when Grim says something slightly mean. The authors wrote so much nuance into every scene and line of dialogue and people just dumb it down to "Hels good Grim evil uwu" :/ I don't even know where that comes from? Some of you guys act like Grim murdered the entire population of the island. Really hope this fandom gains some critical thinking skills soon.
