Civilian : I decided to take a shortcut on my hiking route because it was getting dark but I accidentally got lost. Then everything turned eerily quiet and I found myself in a part of the forest that was super creepy.

The trees had no leaves even though it was summer and there were strands of very long dark hair hung on some of the branches and I couldn't even see where the strands ended. The only thing that looked even remotely alive was some forget-me-nots on the ground.

After a while of walking around, I found a strange guy just standing there. Even though I went up and spoke to him I can't recall a single detail about his appearance. We talked for a while but I also can't remember what it was about. After that he pointed a direction to me and I quickly found the road.

The Passemant astronomical clock in the Palace of Versailles has been keeping the time, date and moon phases exactly since the 18th century.

The clock was designed by Claude-Siméon Passemant in the 18th century and took around 30 years to create.

Located in Versailles since 15 January 1754, it is composed of a pendulum clock above which is placed an armillary sphere, depicting the heliocentric system and capable of showing the exact position of the planets.

The mechanism, built by watchmaker Louis Dauthiau, was made to correctly mark the time, date, moon phases and alignment of the planets until the end of the year 9999.

Всё, что касается письменности, не имеет чётких временных границ. Утверждать можно только одно: чем новее документ, тем больше шансов, что цифры в нём будут арабские, и, соответственно, наоборот: чем документ старше, тем больше шансов, что цифры в нем будут обозначены буквами. Цифры могут обозначаться одной, двумя, тремя или четырьмя буквами. Всё, что больше числа 9999 нечасто встречается в текстах и для чтения писцовых книг и ревизских сказок лишь в ряде случаев может иметь решающее значение. Для нас важны цифры помельче. Для удобства при чтении текстов рекомендуется сделать себе распечатку азбуки кириллицы с указанием цифровых значений букв, чтобы каждый раз не залезать ради этого в поисковик. В ряде случаев сделать это легко, когда титло - горизонтальная черта, которая ставится сверху, явственно прорисована и легко узнаваема. Рассмотрим ряд примеров. В данном примере мы видим буквы З, Е и В, над которыми явственно прорисована горизонтальная черта. Так как более никаких знаков, кроме черты, мы не видим, это значит, что перед нами цифра. Смотрим её значение по азбуке. Иногда титло может быть неярко выраженным, или наоборот, слишком вычурным и витиеватым, как на примере ниже: Здесь в роли титла выступает нижняя планка от лигатуры "ДЕ", обозначающей слово "день". В другом случае, титла показывают, что перед нами не ИI, а 18, не ТЛГ, а 333. Рассмотрим пример, где титла обведены в зелёные овалы: Встретив составленное из нескольких букв число, нужно "разложить" его на эти буквы, определив значение каждой в отдельности. Если перед числом стоит знак, напоминающий современный знак хэштэга (обведено зелёным), значит, перед нами тысячи. Мы это число также раскладываем на составляющие и прочитываем: В данном примере мы видим, как горизонтальная планка от лигатуры "ДЕ", обозначающей слово "день" выступает в роли титла. 7141 год мы переводим в современное летоисчисление, путём вычитания (т.к. дело было в августе месяце) 5508. Получаем 1633 год. После числа 9999 ��ля обозначения более крупных чисел на Руси существовала следующая система знаков и названий: тьма, легион, леодр, вран, колода, тьма тем.
