Do people here have any helpful tips on what to feed children. Apparently protein shakes, quote unquote, "taste bad"- I don't see the issue.

I've tried animal crackers with wolf shapes, which was a favourite, but I fear they don't contain all the nutrients necessary for a child...and their sugar content is quite high.
