Hailey’s face turns pink, then red, uncharacteristically speechless in the face of the rage bubbling up inside of her. But only for a moment. “No— no I don’t! What the fuck are you talking about? I’ve been nothing but nice to you, and you think that means I want to fuck you?!”

She chews you out while her little entourage of sorority sisters giggle and whisper to each other behind her, some of them seeming to enjoy seeing Hailey so out of sorts. Hailey knows she’s losing their respect the longer she keeps you around, but she can’t stay away from you either. The loss of control is infuriating.

“Soooo you really wouldn’t mind if I… fucked them instead?” You point to a random partygoer, one who looked like a bigger loser than you by Hailey’s standards.

Hailey looks like steam’s about to start pouring from her ears. One of her “friends,” laughs openly, cut short by Hailey’s glare turning towards her.

“Hold on a minute,” she hisses through a forced smile to her clique, “I need to talk some sense into them.”

Hailey grabs your arm, nails digging into the fabric, and drags you somewhere more private to ask you just what the fuck you think you’re doing.

Now that we are done and over with Halloween, everyone is getting into Christmas mood - which I totally get, I'm ready for all the Christmas decorations - but you know where my mind is at? New Years resolutions. Beginning for the amount of I actually get to spend with my best friend, whom is you, just to not leave any doubts. It's simply ridiculous how little quality time we spent together this year, I won't have it, 2024 has to be our year. @hailsbcldwin

*Hailey walks around the hatchet field streets at sundown, a coffee from beanies in her hand and a shitty pastry in the other. She takes a sip, her face scrunching up at the shitty ass taste of the coffee, and tries to drown it out with the pastry's taste, which only made it worse*

"God damnit."

*she'd let out an angry sigh, taking a rest on the nearest patch of grass she could find in Hatchetfield and continues to eat her pastry*

Rhea took a deep breath, pushing the door open. Group therapy. It was different from how she normally did therapy, but she wasn’t... completely against it. She wasn’t sure how to feel with the idea of throwing her traumas out to a group of other students. But if it helped...

She slowly stepped into the room, clutching her sketchbook tightly to her chest, looking between everyone sitting in chairs, getting the feeling that she’d managed to at least initially go unnoticed.

“Where’d Hollis run off to, do you think?” Willa asked, fidgeting with her cloak.

Audrey shrugged. “They said something about a ‘retrieval mission’? We’ll see when they get back, I think. Maybe it’s snacks.”
