this messed up vintage cat sewing pattern has tormented me since i saw it & like some other folks have done in that post - i tried my hand at tweaking the pattern to resemble the illustration (and my personal tastes) a little more. i've ended up with this. i bestow it upon you nice folks now 👐

another thing that bothers me is just the concept of "overeating" like obviously there is an amount of stuff that you can put in your body that will make you sick but on top of that being WAY less harmful than STARVING YOURSELF TO DEATH and it being someone's right as a person to engage in something that might harm them, none of yall know what overeating actually looks like. mainstream society is so skinny focused and calorie counting that not a damn person knows how much food you should actually be eating.

"but it's 2000 calories a day" not only are calories complete unscientific bunk but that specific number was estimated for like... children.., and it STILL starved them. the multi thousands of calories a day diets you get so scared of are more often than not THE AMOUNT OF FOOD YOU SHOULD BE EATING especially if you frequently exercise or do body/mind straining labor. skinny hegemony reinforces itself in a lot of ways but a HUGE way is by literally teaching us to eat with guilt in our hearts and an eye on some made up score with backwards ass golf rules. the food you think is evil are staple foods of countries you can't point to on a map because you simply do not respect one of the most basic of human cultural practices: FOOD.

EAT YOUR FOOD BECAUSE YOU ARE IN FAR MORE IN DANGER OF UNDEREATING AND GETTING DEBILITATING DISORDERS FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE THAN YOU ARE TO PUTTING ON SOME POUNDS

#and get the fuck off keto your body should not be in ketosis unless you are prescribed that diet by a doctor #it's a diet meant for treating children you are literally ripping your body apart #in hopes that it makes people think you're rich enough to buy ozempic #which again another medication whee weight loss is a NEGATIVE SIDE EFFECT #you people should be more scared of weight loss and seeing a 2 digit number on your scales than you are #and less scared of fat and especially fat people #fucking fix yourselves
