During another training session from Mitsuru, this time a triple combo of endurance, capacity, and reflex training (stuck in Mitsuru's bubbling gut, trying to eat all the food she was inhaling lest they be buried beneath it, while reacting to pokes and prods from the outside by Aigis), Fuuka feels a great disturbance in her gut.
A rumble, a burbling, a GWWRROOOOON from the double folded, torso-eclipsing belly she'd forced to go from palmable to hanging below her knees in the span of an hour that spoke only of ill tidings to come.
She had to burp.
Normally, it wouldn't be too big a deal. She was in Mitsuru-senapi's tummy, the most secure location on Earth (depending on her mood of course) away from any prying eyes or shocked faces. She had full permission and even encouragement to let loose her building disintegrating, Richter scale registering eructations out without worry. Mitsuru was always willing to shoulder the blame for such eruptions of gas when they occurred while Fuuka occupied her guts and the navigator was half certain the vibrations got the redhead off like nothing else.
The problem was that she was with Yukari-senpai. Sweet, kind, sensitive Yukari who wasn't as accustomed to the depths of hedonism and depravity as the other two were. Who knew very little of the sheer force that Fuuka's burps could generate and was stuck in an extremely enclosed space with her.
Who was currently trying to yell at Fuuka to get her head out of the clouds through a mouthful that almost had the less experienced archer choking while the nav tried to soothe her churning stomach and kept a hand over her mouth like she could physically keep the gas from leaving her lips. Alas-
"UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLCCCCCCCCCCCCHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!"
Meanwhile... in the real world.
"Hm. Reduced movement from Fuuka-san." Aigis noted out loud, jabbing a metallic finger into the squishy flesh of Mitsuru's belly. Just as she'd been asked, she'd been providing outside stimulus to the no doubt already stimulating conditions for her two friends, in the hopes of keeping them active. Very odd that Fuuka would stop moving, when it was known how... "eager" she was to these things.
"Don't worry, Aigis. I can feel her moving a bit - she's not going soft yet." Mitsuru paused her endless glutting to respond to the robots report. The giant table of food had been nearly drained over the course of this excercise, but the Kirijo still paid close attention to the condition of her trainees! Don't want them being absorbed by accident...
"Understood. Resuming poking..." Aigis nodded, and began sinking her digits into the vague outlines of Yukari and Fuuka again. She was using much less force than she would normally use against Mitsuru's stomach - one of Aigis' crushing massages was one of her favourite after dinner activities! For a human, Mitsuru was incredibly resilient to such high PSI. But minimal pressure was required here, on account of the beloved teammates squirming within.
"Mm, this Wild Duck style Curry is to die for! I really must commend my chefs for inventing such an idea." Mitsuru smiled with a hand on her cheek. After her tenth helping of the stuff. "Perhaps they could offer the recipe to the actual-"
"!!"
Moments before the eruption, Aigis' sensors noticed the expanding force happening beneath Mitsuru's skin. The woman herself paused mid-sentence, as the explosion took place-
The sound of Fuuka's burp could be heard, clear as day, beneath all of that fat - like she was in the room with them. But more shockingly, Mitsuru's giant gut expanded violently as if a bomb had detonated with her depths! Aigis' arm was blown back with more strength than even her machine body could resist, and Mitsuru's eyes went wide as she jolted in her chair-!
It lasted about ten seconds, according to Aigis' internal clock... though it didn't feel like it from her perspective. By the end of it, she was looking at a semi-taut ball of tummy that had been bloated to almost twice it's previous size. Both outside girls blinked at it, then at eachother...
"... I believe Fuuka-san has reached her limit for today. Should we evacuate her and Yukari-san and prepare medical staff?"
"Y-yes, Aigis... that's enough for today." Mitsuru sighed heavily, placing her fork laden with curry back down on the table. "Hopefully Takeba's hearing... or mind... isn't damaged from that."
Next time, taking them one at a time might be safer-

finished P3Re ep aigis last night... it's been a Long while since i've played the answer and even then i only did one (1) time but i digress. i revoke my earlier statements about them butchering the shadow makoto cutscene. i think recontextualizing the scene as a more emotional and "beautiful" goodbye as SEES realizes they've not processed their grief At All works for what specifically they were doing in EpAi.
the focus in the original was Just on makoto being peeled. it was about the horror of what happens to your body after you die, the audience realizing along with SEES that this is what is happening to him. and like. damn after seeing that it makes sense why yukari really Wouldn't want to go back to the present, because who wants to acknowledge that their best friend is rotting away? that her father rotted away years ago? that everyone they've lost on the journey is doing the exact same? accepting that you won't see someone ever again is one thing, but acknowledging that the body you hugged and smiled and laughed with is decomposing and being eaten away by bacteria and worms and time is...a whole other ballpark
but EpAi actually shows SEES as his shadow fades away. this is the last time they'll ever see him in front of them (regardless of whether the shadow is a "real" part of the him they knew) it's about the tragedy of fading away, of letting go of the person you knew but holding onto the memories you have with them that will never die
and like... i love both approaches! they both suit their respective adaptations. the answer is about the final stage of accepting death: how disgusting and shocking the reality really is beyond just the emotional. EpAi is about saying goodbye one final time, but that those goodbyes are not the end; they're a new beginning as you learn to live your life for the departed

Still capable of feats of strength, even though quite chunky... Just ask the myriad obese ladies of S.E.E.S, whom Aigis employs hydraulic pressure to pull out of various doorways their immense obese features get stuck in...
This is why she prefers to just stay in her room and employ... Subtler methods to get all her food.
(Several thousand dollars of Doordash a day)

Now that Episode Aigis is about to come out next week, here are some things I dread/wish would happen:
. One of the link episodes ending with a bittersweet mention of the protagonist/a visit to his grave.
. Seeing the funeral or a photo montage of it.
. Finding letters and objects from Maxed out Social Links in the dorm.
. Going up to Shinjiro/Makoto's door and the thought bubble is like "This is Makoto's/Shinjiro's door, but it's locked because....he's not here anymore...."
. Actually seeing the photos you took (whether or not Ryoji's in them is up for debate.)
. Hearing the protagonist say one more line and it's something like "Bye, guys. Love you."
. Having them admit that they miss him and don't know how they can go on without him.
. Have the team be fully traumatized to see ??? disappear the way it does.

"Protein flavored candy..." Aigis searches her databanks. Does protein HAVE a flavor? No, there's nothing in here except combat strategies regarding muscular enemies. "I will have to try some myself."

i don't really get why persona 3 the answer was such a polarizing epilogue to the story. were we all too young when we played it or something? because looking back on it now, it was a perfect exploration of everyone's grief, and how it manifested so strongly in them that their personas actually stopped time because of how desperately they all wanted to go back. even if they could only see the protagonist just one more time. for just one more minute.
to say nothing of the significant character arcs aigis and yukari both go through. the way they both accept their grief and move on, resolving to change the world for the better. the way junpei and ken both feel the same, as a result of their experiences in "the journey."
i guess people didn't like it because yukari was "bitchy" or whatever, but she's very clearly grieving, it's just that her grief comes out in the form of anger. i guess sexism played a role there - women can't be angry or mean and all that. i, for one, think it was completely in character of her to react that way. the way she was so dismissive of everyone dwelling on the past when they walked through all the doors, even when confronted with her own, she was very clearly pretending. pretending like she was ready to move on. and then, finally, after aigis and metis defeat her and she realizes that only aigis can use the key now, she breaks down in tears, finally showing how terribly this situation has been affecting her, how much she was holding back, how much she was repressing.
maybe people just didn't get it because (and i think this is a good thing) they haven't had to grieve for someone they've lost. as someone who grieves for my father every day as he loses himself to alzheimer's, i felt extremely seen by the answer. everyone's reactions are things i've gone through - yukari's anger and despair and regret, ken and akihiko's desire to move on and live life to the fullest, junpei being afraid to go back, and a little bit afraid to go forward too, and everything in between. i think that grief just isn't something one can understand until they've experienced it firsthand, and that's okay. i know i didn't understand when i first played the answer. grief is one of the most complicated and complex feelings we experience. it can't be easily broken down into five stages like we all pretend it can. it's every feeling under the sun, all the time, every day. and as you learn to live without that person, as you grow around your grief, you carry that love for that person with you wherever you go. but the grief never truly goes away. you just get better at handling it. you just get better at reminding yourselves what they would've wanted for you. and you try to live for yourself, and a little bit for them too.
in my opinion, the answer was a fitting ending. it answered any lingering questions, gave all the characters closure and new motivations for their futures, and i won't pretend like i didn't shed a tear when april 1st finally came and they played brand new days.
the only legit criticism i have for this game is the same one i have for FES as a whole: why can't i directly control my party members aaaa this part of the game had some of the most difficult bosses and aigis is just powerhousing her way thru. i mean i did it but fuck me you guys. and then there's my usual criticism of no feMC (or shinjiro!!) but eh, y'all know how i feel about them

Aigis flicks Ryoji's big-ass forehead - @epitomees
Ryoji flinches, staring at her in confusion for a moment before a smile spreads across his face.
"I wasn't aware of this form of greeting before! It's very kind of you to teach me, Aigis, thank you!"
He flicks her forehead in return.

Aigis was wearing a big bang logo in her torso as she said this like if it was a commercial.. Keeping the masisve lardass alive was a tough task but it provided lots of funding..

which symbolic fruit are you ?

Dates
In Islam, during Ramadan, dates are used to break the daily fast that Muslims engage in and are sacred symbols of faith, abundance, longevity, hospitality and peace. In other faiths, they are also used to represent faith, power and pilgrimage. Dates, being high in sugar, are prosperous in desert regions and were known for keeping men from starvation. In the same way dates are subtly sweet, so are you. More even-tempered than others, though you likely have a more placid surface, your waters do run deep. You're someone who has a strong connection to whatever faith or belief system you believe in and enjoy engaging in deep conversations with those around you. Contemplation and gratitude are words that aren't rare in your vocabulary. You spend much of your time putting others before yourself, getting by on the dates of kindness alone. Just remember, you cannot survive to be there for other people; you have to put yourself first sometimes.
Clementine
In Chinese culture, clementines, known for their bright orange, waxy exterior, were symbolic of gold, and by extension, wealth, good fortune and abundance. Trees that bear clementines (or mandarins, as they're also known as) are often used to decorate the thresholds of Chinese households as a sign of good luck and prosperity. As lucky as Clementines may be, so are you and those around you. With a sunny disposition, and a knack for seeing the best in everyone, and the good in the world around you, you're someone who believes that the glass is always half full. Things can always be worse, and they will always get better, one way or another! Like the vibrant clementines you're known for bringing light to those who need it, and always bringing laughter to your friend group. However, such a bright exterior can sometimes hide a deep and lingering sadness. Remember: even the light sometimes has to dim, and even the sun has to set. Don't worry; it'll always come back.
