an update, under a cut, because it's long and we all have our own things. <3

so this is a post I've had to really, really think about because I'll be honest with you all? the past few months haven't been kind. so much bad has happened in a short time that when I went through the worst heartbreak I've ever gone through, I just couldn't take it anymore. when you're hurt and being here reminds you of it, well, it's hard to come back.

I'm ok. ish. mostly. (if you know you know, and if not well, it doesn't really matter anymore, though I welcome new friends <3.) I'm working hard to get to ok ALL the time, and one of the things I've had to do is take a step back from here and evaluate how I want to proceed.

at the end of the day, right now, I'm taking a permanent step back from this blog. I'm going to be working at coming back, on my terms, and with a focus on what makes me happy. but I can't guarantee anything right now and I'll be honest, there are too many ghosts here for me to make a decision.

I've moved discords and I will be moving blogs if I return. I won't be advertising where I'm going, but I will be more selective in what I put my energy into, to safeguard myself.

Hi all! Just a quick little update that yes, I’m alive! I’m so sorry for ghosting y’all. I had a few work things come up in my life that took my attention and it left so very little time and energy for hobbies it was, frankly, rather depressing.

I’m going to start by queuing things at first, and it might be a little sporadic as I work myself back into a rhythm. But thank you for being patient, and I can’t wait to write with you all!

Hi everyone! Apologies for being absent; it’s con season and I’ve been busy with work and then rushing to my sewing machine to finish projects before the end of July. This is why I likely haven’t responded to our thread, your DM, or any Discord messages. I’m so sorry for that!

I have family coming in this weekend, so I will be off the dash until probably the evening of July 4th, if not July 5th.

I’ll have things in my queue, and may pop in to like a thing or two, but won’t be writing until the above dates at the earliest.

Hi all!

A quick note to say I haven’t been the most on-dash active here and also have been super bad the past two weeks about reaching out to friends via IM and Discord. For that, I apologize. The short story is a lot has been going on in real life, all for the better though, and I’m slowly getting into a much better place mentally.

My current brain rot is still pretty firmly in Stranger Things, and I’m half considering putting my Stranger Things kids onto their own multi. That aside, if you are not here for the Stranger Things, feel free to blacklist the tag ( v : stranger things ) and that should catch most of it!

Conversely, if you aren’t here for Marvel or DC, ( v : marvel ) and ( v : dc ) should be black listable. I’m getting better at remembering to tag them.

We’re still running mostly on queue right now, but I’m hoping to up it from 3 posts to 4 posts again soon.

Other than that, I hope you’re all doing well! I’ll be putting up a new followers starter call today, but if you want to skip that my memes tag is a good way to get something started fast. And if you have any questions at all about muses, portrayals, etc. my asks are open!

OOO - Update!

Hi all! I know, it’s been ages since I’ve been here properly. Apologies - I’ve had a lot going on in real life and writing went out the window for con season. Real life is still busy, but I’m finally starting to feel that writing bug again, right as I start gearing up for a trip and a few other big life changes!

I’ll be using my queue system pretty liberally for awhile, so please bear with me as I’ll be a bit slow.
