HIATUS.

It was probably obvious, given the recent lack of activity, but I don’t think I’ll be coming back to this blog. Writing Frank in particular has been a lot of fun - he refreshed a lot of the writing muse I’d burnt out during my time on other blogs - but honestly, I think my time in the Marvel RP fandom has come to an end. Recent personal issues have been the catalyst for this, but it’s really been a long time coming.

I do love writing Frank - I’m hoping to maybe, one day, recreate him on a sideblog of some kind if I’m ever up for roleplaying again, because there are a lot of writers here that I’m going to miss and wish I could have done more with.

In particular, I’m going to keep the following in mind: @seven-times, @pastichemuses, @withoutxfear, @franklinnelsonforthedefense, @the--redacted--of-hellskitchen and @gotthedevilinem. You guys were my favourite people to write with here and I hope to find you again in the future. Thank you so much. <3

You… YOU!! God, if it wasn’t already obvious I have always adored Noah– which is why I’m so damn surprised we don’t have anything set! Let’s change that soon, yeah? I think I even have some anons from waaaaaaay back when that I still need to post from him. I’ll do those after this.

Anyway, here what I’m going to throw at you:

I am a sucker for crime based muses, especially detectives (obviously)– how many times will their paths cross while working on a case?– what advantages or disadvantages do they have? (together/separate)– would they work together or would they work against each other?

then there is his past of being in the mafia– no, you’re still not too cute to go to jail : P

there’s a significant age difference between the two (woobin-28, noah-23)– in this case a hyung-dongsaeng relationship would be appropriate– though through their occupation they could be senior-junior too

did he always have a supernatural side to him? throw an au at me

they have always gotten along, or at least that was the impression I got– goes along with the point above. he called woobin cpt eyebrows once, ahaha!– which is why a pre-established relationship is a given bc its been like.. 2 years man

/ I really want Ratigan to interact with more children. Its not secret that he doesn't really LIKE children, he finds them annoying and bratty and they get in the way...

Buuuuttt, I'd like to see him change that a bit. I have no doubt that if a child held potential he'd help them shine. He'd still be stern and stuff but I really want someone to get to that gooey centre in him and for him to grow a soft spot for someone else in a familial kinda way.

He was a tutor once, yes, to older children/teens(?), but still >>

That while true to the character we see in the film, he loves being evil and is a remorseless awful being, he is still alive. He's capable of caring about others and forming attachments, being genuinely hurt and scared, etc etc etc. He has a tangible depth to him, and you don't woobify him. He sucks. He's mean. He's evil. He's an asshole. He is just not a good person so authentically it's very refreshing.
