devotionduo space au where mapicc is a successful bounty hunter with several captures under his belt and zam is a mass murderer who’s dropped off the face of the galaxy to try and become a peaceful farmer on some forgotten planet but mapicc keeps showing up at his doorstep?? and zam will run away every time even when mapicc has his team sweep the entire area and keep watch because he’s paranoid to the max and has a million escape tunnels.

i think we should talk about zam’s metal arm in fics and art more tbh (actually we probably do and i just don’t see it because devotionduo people don’t post about it but) it has so much potential.

like in my space au (i guess i should give it a name i’ll call it spacebounty for now) zam would definitely have to go to bigger planets often for repairs and stuff right? not too often because he knows a good bit about his own prosthetic, but there’s some things he simply can’t do on his own with the materials he has. the first time mapicc catches zam after accepting the hit would definitely be in the marketplace, just like. wandering around. he’s definitely a slippery bastard though i love him, and mapicc would end up chasing him around the city for a while. zam would probably have a lot of friends working around there (hello other lsers sneak) and be able to escape. cat and mouse dynamic!!
