[💾] Qwerty's not usually one to get offended, quite the contrary, in fact. You could call her a slur and she'd just tell you to refrain from using such language.

But what can actually set her off? Imply/say that she's a "clone" of Vee. Such as calling her names like "Blue Vee" or "Vee #2". Her ususal response to this is a short stare, followed by a blink, followed by a stern phrase:

"It may be best to remind you; I am more than a mere duplication of my sister."

Qwerty knows that, yes, they have their similarities, but Qwerty has her own quirks and identity that shouldn't be ignored or brushed aside.

While Qwerty of course had her fans, Delilah had...second thoughts after making her. Suggesting that, if Qwerty proved to be "too similar" to Vee, that they should give Vee Qwerty's teaching purpose (Computer basics and internet etiquette and safety) use her parts to make Vee Version 2, should that have come to pass, and cover it up by saying she "traveled somewhere" or was "closed for repairs" ("Put on a Bus" trope)

In other words, essentially "merging" Qwerty into Vee, a "composite character" of sorts.

Luckily Qwerty was able to stand out enough to avoid this fate (and maybe she had some help from Dandy on the sidelines, since I HC he was also the reason the "Vee Version 2" project didn't come to fruition)

This is why Qwerty clings so much to her "directive" (which is to help and educate others). It's the main thing separating from Vee, the robot who hosts, and her, the robot who helps.

If she becomes stripped of that directive, that purpose, that part of her...then what exactly is separating her from being "Just another Vee"?.

And that is the brunt of Mal's identity crisis. She can't help others anymore, she's become a monster (something she sometimes tries to deny)...Just like Twisted Vee. Her powers center around the machines...Just like Twisted Vee....Her torso has been mangled and leaking ichor...Just like Twisted Vee.

Yes, Mal's still a little different compared to Twisted Vee in terms of abilities and appearance. But the similarities are just as if not more pronounced...

Sometimes she does try to emulate Twisted Vee intentionally, sort of out of spite. In a way that's like "I'm just like Vee then? FINE! Then I'll just be Vee!" or in other words "If I can't be ME, then I'll be YOU!"

But it's only a temporary relief. As deep down she knows...or at least she thinks...she's just a poser, just another murder monster, just another Vee...but with none of the charm left to spare...

Oh and calling Mal "Blue Vee" or "Vee #2"? That's practically a death wish, as Luci found out the hard way...
